The economy of Maharashtra, as state is not very healthy in comparison to ther Indian States like Punjab,Gujarat,Karnataka etc. If the income of Mumbai is kept apart the state becomes as ordinary as Bihar.This is the reason why the people of Maharashtra are so possessive of Mumbai. In general the maharashtrian people are honest, straight forward, they have the image of arrogance and not hard working as Biharis or UPites,that's why the industrialist in Mumbai prefers other state people than Maharashtrian
This has become serious problem for Maharashtrians , they do not have the capital for the business like Gujjus/Marwaris/Parsis have, they are not professionaly qualified and not ready to face the competition like south Indians and some North Indians can take.

Yes the in capability of Marathis can be proved by basic fact as in below 1.in Mumbai, non Marathas are main contributor to the commercial fields and corporates. 2.In other places of maharastra, where there is majority marathi population, the economy is very bad-Farmers suicide.

Have you ever seen any other part of maharashtra besides mumbai?What the hale happenig in Gujarath(Riots),punjab(Female Birth Ration ) and Karnataka(Terrorist Targeted state like JNK and punjab)?If you are calling the Bhaiyaas hardworking?No man they can work for a whole day for 1 Rs. because they don't have option and who will not prefer such a cheap labour?

Mr. Amol, if such is the argument you are, then it is not the fault of migrants, but it is the fault of labour department who are not checking the records of employers and contractors as they are not giving wages as per Minimum Wages Act. Nobody is willing to work under low wages and if it is so, it is the cent percent fault of Industrialists of this state and Govt. of Maharashtra.
The going on and the onslaught on Indias unity is from within like leaders of religion and regional outfits who are less interest in unity and integrity of the country. They are merely wants to become leaders in their pockets and wants people of that pockets to agree their laws to keep their leadership and authority. However, this is dangerous trend and it seems Maharashtra Govt. and judiciary in particular of that state is giving help to grow this type of divide and rule policies which is not at all agreeable as per the Indian Constitution. The people who are preaching hatred amongst relgion and regional basis are the enemey of the country and enemey of the humanity and their growth should nip in the bud to save Indianness and Indias unity. If not, as Honorubale Union Home Ministers statemenet that India Govt. cannot guarantee the safety and security of each individual, then people will take weapons for their self security. If such things happenes then that day will be the end of Indian Democracy. The ongoings in the State can please only for the countries like Pakistan, China and USA and other European countries are watching and monitoring the situation in India. We feel that the people like the leaders who imposed hatred and violence should be put behind bars and Indian Judiciary should take strict actions against all those involved it local politicians and state Govt. utterly failed to protect the citizen of the country residing in the state.
