Pakistan will never have a democracy like india.Historically it is a state dominated by Military regime.Their Western province is a virtual free land without any Govt control. There is so much free arms, ammunnition andexplosives available in the country that it is virtually impossible to control terrorists and ultra outfits over there. No govt whether Military or civilian can do that.Because there are active sympathisers for Al-quida and jaish among the MpS,Let is nothing but ISI-Incognito.Hence anty India and pro-liberation kashmir policies will continue- more than 70% of common uneducated Pakistanis favour such policies- and the country is oblivious to the plight of peace and harmony by the educated and cultured few.Hence whoever comes to power in pakistan there will beno respite for India-may be a the degree of hostility will differ from time to time.

No freako, Indians are in control of the these region. They are killing the dirty scum pests called Jihadis. And the home of these pests is your land.Whenever you want to show off your so called strength to India, remember Marathas, Ranjit singh, 1965 defeat of pakis, 1971 , siachen, where your asses were burnt in the snow and Kargil.Man what a incompetent army you guys have. Your guys sit on a mountain top, have all the advantage and still get their butt kicked to blue by our soldiers who climb all the way up.
Will you see this heading in an indian Newspaper? ""india retakes Assam""
HAHAHHA, Let me give you some pakistani newspaper headlines. "Pakistan Retakes SWAT"" ""Pakistan regains control of Upper SWAT"" ""Pakistan retakes control of town of Matta"" ""Pakistani Town under Taliban. Army Flees"" ""Pakistani Army Abandons Fort. Militants Take over""
HAHAHHAHA. Just think about your Pathetic country. You have headlines about your own army losing pakistani towns and areas and running away. The problem is pukis are so used to all this happening that it is normal day to day news in pakistan.

My Friend, Pak is run by three A's: Army, Allah, America. They will never grow up for sure, and this Honeymoon between Zardari & Sharrif will be ending in just a few months, and Army will take over again. Pak is a Doomed Failure of the British policy, and they (i.e British) are paying for it now. It shows Mohammed Gandhi had no vision, just he was following blindly what his Master British wanted.

Let me tell you all you Indians writing these foolish articles that what about India?? What happened in Gujarat where Hindus have burned alive 3000 Muslims in 2005 with the help of their GOVERNMENT.. What about the CAST SYSTEM you still enjoy in India where high Cast Burhaman feel shameful and consider sin to sit or even touch lower cast Hindus... That color and race issue did happened in USA 60 years ago but India still have full blown CAST SYSTEM. First get rid of it before talk about democracy and label your self democratic society.

U must be an Islamist Paki, so U hate India and the Godhra etc. U forget the fact that 60 or so Hindus were burnt by your Mad brothers, and so they would feel the heat. U know for sure Casteism is not important in India. Some people might misuse that and the rest of the populace can't be blamed for that. It shows your Sick Mind to utter the Democracy. What we have in India u have nothing in Pak, only your Pak can survive by hating India. But now they are suffering from their own hatred towords each other.

SPEAKING FREELY The Muslim problem in India By Satyabrata Rai Chowdhuri
Speaking Freely is an Asia Times Online feature that allows guest writers to have their say. Please click here if you are interested in contributing.
The constitution of India envisages a system which seeks to promote political unification of the society while giving the ethnic groups in it a wide range of rights to preserve and develop their own distinct cultures. Important particularly for religious minorities are those provisions of the constitution that deal with the right of freedom of religion.
Religious groups are not only given the freedom to pursue their religion but also the right to propagate it. Additionally, they have the right to manage their own religious affairs and to establish and maintain institutions for imparting religious instruction. The latter are also entitled to receive financial assistance from the state.
No constitution, however, can resolve complex social issues all by itself. It merely provides a normative basis for their resolution. The task of resolving social problems is ultimately that of politics. It does so by translating the broad normative statements of the constitutions into concrete policies and actions. In an open society like ours the political realm, however, is above all the realm of public preferences and pressures, with those in power compelled to act within the constraints of public opinion.

Well I have been working as an activist there and i know minorities have been treated very well there...you do come across shia/sunni and other riots but i have never come across any muslim/hindu or muslim/christians religious problems there...well honestly speaking you should see what has been happening to the muslims in india throughout...i would not ask you to post your email ID...just type in " barbari mosque incident" and you will see what the reality is. If india didnt exist then i wud think that hindus are a minority in the world and everyone discriminates them (dont cry..plz wipe ur tears..no one hates u) But hello with India existing, hindus have got this strong image that they carry thoughout the world. Pakistan is an Islamic Republic so they can treat the minorities the way they like but India CLAIMS to be secular they have got no right to treat minorities the way they do now...too much dirty politics in india...i wud stay away frm that type of democracy!
