Dear Akram, what happened in Gujarat was a spontaneous reaction which criminologists call "mob psychology" You or me will not indulge in such inhuman activities when alone. We only think of the good of all humanbeings, irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion.
What happened at Godhra and its aftermath are both condemnable. There has not been any riot in Gujarat since then and the state's economy is flourishing.
We all have to get rid of the religious dogmas for the betterment of all human-beings. There are no separate heaven/hell for the followers of different religions. The religions were created by vested interests to befool the gullibe masses. The sooner we all come out of such dogmas, the better for the whole mankind.

It is not about the economic conditions alone which drive people to such activities. Your question was right: Why educated, IT employed professionals are turning to it?
It is high time we realize what the root cause of all this is and address that. Not just allocating some % of seats in everything to Muslims (religious minorities). It is not solving any problems.
Why doesn't this point enter the tiny brains of our semi-literate, ignorant policy makers???

ULFA in ASSAM is not muslim Babbar Khalsa in non muslim organization LTTE in Srilanka and Naxals in Orissa & AP RSS Parivar are not muslims.

Ok akram. u listed three "non-muslim terrorists". there is a long list of jehadi organisations. Both u and me shud understand that the problem is not religion but keeping ur faith in some foreign land. Most muslims think they r discriminated in india. They r enjoying many lenient laws which r not there even in IRAN,Pakistan. Still u dont get satisfied. U produce 10-15 children and expect govt. to do all good to them. Why dont we learn from christians.? they live faithful and friendly to their neighbours(whatever may b their intentions....they dont plant bombs ). MUSLIMS ALWAYS CONFUSE RELIGIOUS FAITH WITH EVERYTHING. Keep ur religion in ur mind and heart and think as a human being. Use reason. With so many arrests of suspected terrorists, our beloved, honourable, gentleman, secular, scholar (and what not) primie minsterji is not getting sleep again. Its seems it has become a proven formula in non muslim countries to corner muslims by blaming them as terrorist minded and get the majority to vote in the election. It happened when Babri masjid was demolished and BJP came to power, it happened in America where BUSH won the election by declaring war in muslim countries and recently in gujarat when Modi won the election even after people know the truth how he master minded the riots in gujrath killing 1000s of muslims. check with Gujarat police how many people were arrested for the Sabarmathi incident. Many of them are arrested with out any strong evidence against them because of muslim names.
A blind who was certified by Gujarat Government for his disability was still under trial.
