think what would happen if their communal mentor Advani becomes PM of India? RSS is no way different from Al-Quida
The Govt.could consider appointing advisers who could educate the farmers and make it profitable for them. Basic neccessities like seeds,manure,water etc. must be given a thought. Govt.could deploy tractors which plough the fields free of cost. Farmers are too dependent on vagieries of nature and drought gives them no returns. Instead of writing off loans create a situation where loans are not required to be taken and provide to the farmer in kind and services. This will spare him from the money lenders. Also a better procurement price to them will certainly improve their lot. Build institutions which teach modern methods of agriculture. Writing off loans is a political stunt, as situation remains the same year after year as simply providing cash will not help.

Dear saha KK,we have seen what CPM and cong done with Taslima nasrin.In calcutta we saw demonstration against Taslima by muslim maulvies.I dont support MF hussain or Taslima but either hindu or muslim cant tolerate any bad thing against their faith.See salman rusdie and cartoonist fron denmark who opposed them.
Politicians come to villages and remember farmers before Election. They are demanding govt. will give compensation. Opposition will say we demanded... Ruling party will say we gave to farmers and we are doing good for farmers. I hope people had not forgot DD/Cheque(Rs. 40 or 20) issued by State Govt. in UP. We all know God Helps them who helps themself.

irony is that that the same people (samajwadi Party) who are responsible for this are holding dharnas before parliament on plight of farmers. God knows when this country would be saved from these power hunger politicians
if all those ministers (in the nda, the congress, the shiv sena and all other parties) who have pocketed billions of rupees from the system, part of the money for the farmers, they need not commit suicide.
