Pakistani Ignorance
by motor mouth on Feb 27, 2008 06:38 PM  Permalink

Pakistan is deep state of shock and disbelief as India is surging way ahead of it in every field. Gone are the days when India was discusses only in the context of pakistan. Today the world recognizes India as a great nation and emerging power. No denying the fact that we have loads of internal problems still haunting this country however we have somehow managed to maintain the same democratic spirit. Pakistan is on the brink of becoming a failed state with no democratic machinary in place, bearded mullahs ruling the streets and every now and then an Army general barges in their prime minister's office and shoves him out grabbing the power. Keep burinig with jealousy and frustration our dear neighbours. As someone has rightly said "DOGS BARK WHEN ELEPHANT WALKS".

Pakistan's problem is not India but itself
by Super User on Feb 27, 2008 06:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Pakistan have bigger issues to worry about like having a stable government, getting economy back into shape and fighting terrorism. They must not worry about India testing missiles, for it will not be India that will bring them down but their internal problems.

I still have one question about India's missile test. If we dont have a submarine capable of launching this missile how do we propose to deploy these missiles into service??

Very good point observed.

Regarding your concern, True that we do not have a submarine that launch this missile. But stay tuned, our great scientists are going to test a fully indegeniously built submarine that can carry the just tested missiles.

Just google for Sagarika project... you will get plenty of resources from sites like Jane's Defence weekly, Global Security Org etc..

The indigenous nuclear submarine project has been going on from 70s... it never even went out from drawing board to real implementation... not even a technology demonstrator... i dont believe it can be deployed anywhere in the next 10 to 15 years... it is with jus hope that money is being invested in the project cause there is no other option... n the scientific esatablishements have failed miserable for the past 3 to 4 decades... they say rana pratap singh tried 7 times before he could make it into the enemy camp with that never say die spirit... proally our defence scientists/govt are taking inspiration from this and targeting 7 decades!

This is a great deterrant that we should have.
by Raja Ashok on Feb 27, 2008 06:20 PM  Permalink

It is pakistan's rogue idea that nuclear weapons would nutralize the might of India. If pakistan fires nuclear weapon first, then entire India is destroyed and then. ... there is nothing to strike back.. This is the monstrous idea that the pakis have conceived and are thinking that they are secure and can flare up the flames over Kashmir.

However, this detterence of the undersea nuclear missile would negate that secure feeling of the pakis. The submarines carrying these undersea missiles can not be tracked on radars. So.. our missles can site right near to their asses.. off the karachi coast and for that matter off the Gwadar coast.

If pakis fire nuclear missiles on Indian land, then missles would rip their asses right from their heart land.

This, effectively, their nuclear capabilities. To develop a similar missile is financially not feasible for them either.

Hats off to the great minds of Indian scientific and research community for making this dream a reality.

All those scientists, engineers, techinicians, managers and strategists involoved in the project deserve standing ovation of the Billion people of India. Dear great minds,,.. you are the real 'Bharat Ratnas'.

These things ahould be understood automatically. DRDO people cant develop an ordinary pistol. They may even borrow it from pakistan and paint and say it is developed by our scientist.

hey pakis, YOU attacked US 3 times and continue to play the hidden game of cowardly pseudo-fights in kashmir and punjab.

And YOU have the gumption to claim that WE would trigger an arms race.

Basically, you want more money from the US, right? So, go ahead, beg to the US anyway. They'll give it to you.

PAk have to shout
by MANISH on Feb 27, 2008 05:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is because they are borrowing only those missile technology from their supplier that which can be easily taken and labled as locally manufactured. But the missile like K-15 has very very advance featurs which is restricted to only some of the nation in the world and Pakistan is helpless in matching the same technology.

Now this test has put big questionmark on the abilityof Pakistan to match the technology of Missiles with India. Rather then shouting they must match the same that will far balance the situation in the region.

Thje other concern with the pakistan is that all the advance weaopn system is being offred to India by Us and there is not now much of difference in the arms supplier to the pakistan, the main thing is Pakistan is loosing the edge somehow.

They are supplied with the inferior technology from the Chinese end and that dose'nt matches the Indian technology at any how. For example the chineese has offered them JF-17 fighter jet in which they have put all the borrowed technology and nothing is matching even the standard of 20yr old IAG jets, where as the indeginious TEJAS fighter of india is almost matching 80% of the F-22 which is a fifth generation fighter jet.

No country will provide pakistan the underwater launched missile technology as it is highly sophesticated and complex.

So Pakistani brothers please develop you technology rather then shouting.

Jai Hind
