Brijesh Mishra...You are a dustbin .Never liked you when you were even in the BJP . Crook Brijish Mishra why dont you 1st tell USA to stop supplying terrorist Pakistan with large sums of money and arms . Before opening your smelly mouth...look at that USA....has large stokpiles of Neuclear arson and have no intention of even destroying a small omount of them....
I have tried to go through minute details abt this deal...problem is that UPA govt has maintained little transparency abt the deal...they havent discussed the exact restrictions in hyde act in parliament...i believe this deal is surely going to affect our moratorium on further nuclear test...why we r too desparate to have such deal with US-a country that has denied us cryogenic technolgy which kept our GSLV programme stagnant for a decade...r nt they going to dictate us on our foreign policies? no doubt we can not meet our energy needs with our conventional fuels nd need to develop atomic technogy to meet our growing requirement...we can trust our old partner RUSSIA for providing this u233 technology...our nuclear research is based on 3 diverse spectrum..1st u233 nd we cannnot really carry it forward as our country has short reserve of uranium..the other involves thorium nd hard water ...our scientists r working on other 2 nd in near future we r expecting some breakthrough which will make our country self reliant...US is eager to sign this deal because it is expecting to gain 150 billion dollars in coming future...

As far as U-233 technology is concerned, not many country are pursuing it. This is solely because they don't have as much Thorium as India do. Most of the research fast reactors (building blocks for U-233)has been closed in various developed countries. India is trying to build a proto-type fast reactor, which I doubt will be a success. No country has ever tried the fast reactor in large scale.
What we need to understand is the U-233 program can't run on its own. It needs the U-235 and fast reactors as well. We don't have enough uranium reserves (all the reactors in the country are running at reduced rating at this moment due to this). The public is opposing any mining of uranium in potential sites. It is really difficult to persuade people for the mining of uranium. The only option we have is to import uranium from other countries (i.e. US, Australia etc.)
About Russia..India is already in a pact with Russia and building some 4 power plants in Tamilnadu. Even Russia has not done any U-233 reactor in large scale.
I agree that US is pursuing the edal only because of monetary benefits. But are not we also going to get the benefits out of the deal? The only thing I am concerned is guarantee of fuel supply.
About the weapon tests. If you didn't succeded in the last two attempts, then I thing we really don't deserve nuclear weapon. If you succeded, there is no need for any further tests. In todays world, I don't see any country using any nuclear weapon. Its so devast
Well, nobody is opposing the Nuke Deal on merits or de-merits. BJP initiated it, but feeling bad the Congress is executing it and will find a name in history. It will do exactly the same thing if it is in power. The Left, wants to have the cake and eat it too. They don't want to be "Left" out of importance. They will do all the posturing to get importance in front of the people, US government, Indian government and everyone who wants the deal through. They will sign the deal (with the consent of the Left)when UPA is ready to go for elections. That way - they seperate and go for elections - and the Left can say - we are not the same as BJP or Congress. Left needs to take this stance - else they will be merged into BJP or Congress. "Left" is the real smart cat benefiting from the fight of the two monkeys.

If India delays the deal, and the power changes in the US, then the bill will definitely be redrafted and the new deal will be more strict. Still the players of politics will allow that bill to pas through the parliament...God save India from these people.
Already the signing is over. only all this is an eye wash. Foolish congress had been sold to US both on Defence and Economy sectors. ONly under the pretext of fooling INDIANs all the talks are crocodile tears from the MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS. Mr.SEN had been selected lick the feet of USA to kill the democracy in INDIA. Also EXTERNAL affairs Ministry is playing with our lives.
Take PAKISTAN case. and learn a lesson. If not INDIA will be once again into the same trap by 2015 if you sign the nuke deal. PM has to know this.
When the matter comes to the growth of the country, it hardly matter for the politicians. What they only need in their life is just 'POWER'. Nothing else matters to them. All those ignorant people who are against the nuclear deal may not have any idea, what it is all about.
The left parties oppose the deal, because China does the same. The common people oppose it, because they just want to be a part of something. Is not it wise to just shut up when you don't have the required awareness?
I strongly appreciate what Brajesh Mishra has said. He might have opposed tht nuclear deal due to some political issues at the firsy instant. But now he realises the fact. Should not everyone else take some lesson from it. Who are more knowledgable or more concerned than a Former National Security Advisor.

Brajesh Mishra is a real diplomat n knows the permatuations n combinations of foreign policy n its implications. Of course, he was not very visible, as he prefers annonymity, he and Jasawant Singh has changed the history of Indian foreign policy. Had 9/11 not happened, it wud have been a different world for India.

nothing to do with 9/11 here.you are not benifiting any thing by 9/11 not happening.India is defentely not benifit without 9/11 or with 9/11.Its an Attack on US.Nothing much and they attack the specific of community.
Mishra tereko kitna khilaya gaya? The nuke deal sucks. Discard it to history. Let it be a lesson for the future governments that deals struck one-off will not be allowed. Amend the constitution such that all material deals will be ratified not by the parliament but by the people.
