The N-bomb.... In 1998, when Vajpayee went ahead with N, there was a brohauha on sanctions imposed... But it also made countries like China and Germany rethink on India strategically....So if Singh could take a leaf from history...
Pkl. afternoon, 4pm, Wednesday, 27th 2008 It is true that Marxists are grinding their axes at the chopper where Manmohan's Parliamentary majority is on stake if this INDO-US deal is signed. The situation is hardly very promising, for most Indian Interests. UPA is on thin ice and may trip even before the time for next lok-Sabha., next April 09. We must do hard thinking , why we must purchase all costly Nuclear generators from US cartels. Can we or cannmot we build our own nuclear generating power systems! We have the heavy -water generators and huge Thorium deposits cannot we use latter to transform fissionable uranium fuels for our fresh -water generators , soon enough ,at feasible costs. That is question few among our Nuclear experts ever address,or concentrate among our best nuclear technologists. Men like Abulkalam (Ex President )should give lead in this quest for self sufficient technolgy for cheap electricity for our strident industrialization...D. Goel

Dear Pandit, Its not that easy to extract energy. It may sound beautiful. But thr Indian Scientist have been working on this since last 40 years. What they have, is some imported / copied foreign designs, that they say to be their own. Its for everyones interest if the deal go through. Do you have any idea of the energy shortage in India?
Now that Brajesh Mishra knows BJP is not going to come to power anymore, he has agreed to tow the US line and has accepted bribe from CIA for giving out such statements.

Left front succeeded to stop the US to enter in the field of India in the name of trade. If BJP could do it, US could loot within a few years. Nuclear Bill is a 'bill' against which is already paid.
Nuclear power is so 20th century and frought with risks.
Develop solar, wind, geo thermal energy- clean, cheap in the long run, ideally suited for Indian conditions. Solar especiallly is perfect for Indian villages-no transmission issues, prices of solar panel falling like rocks, durable.
India needs no nuke deal with US. Work on complete nuclear disarmament, until then keep a few to keep vultures like USA away and use it as a bargaining chip.

Do you have any idea about the current energy status in the world. All those things may sound good. The developed states like UK has tried, and now they are again going for nuclear. Its not that easy kid...
and about nuclear weapon. are you happy keeping you weapon in a cold storage. Mind it, no country would ever dare use the nuclear weapon in this world again. US is not going to force India for disarmament. If you like you can keep your weapon in the cold storage. Its of no problem to any one.
As usual, she is misinterpreting and picking one line out of context what Mishra says.
This is the kind of misinformation that makes many suspect US motive.
Can some one tell us what are the benefits for India after it allows US spies to infiltrate Indian nuclear research facilites, curtail India's limited nuclear capability, buy American arms ( which blow up regularly ), ..for what? nuclear power which is as much history as dinosour. And to add insult to injury- US does not even stop CIA funded Pakistani terrorists operating in India.
Dump the deal and keep bankrupt dirty arms of America away from India
Indian govt should encourage natural energy resources like wind, solar, & India doesnt require nuclear energy bcoz it brings environmental disasters like china where a complete river is poisoned
He was sonia's man in vajpayee's PMO.BJP fooled thier cadre during thier regime, also protected corrupt from prosecution.
Both parties were same, they fool the public to get enthroned.
Both the parties are controlled from Delhi,no one, however effecient, straight forward, non corrupt can lead from delhi, either he should be a puuppet then only they will allow to rule from delhi. This man is one of the biggest agent of Delhi.
