World should unite to silence US!
by Gautam nil on Feb 27, 2008 02:35 AM  Permalink

Look at the wickedness of U.S., to create confusion in the politics of Pakistan! Similar is this rogue country's world activities too! Entire world should join in pushing them to a status of perpetual silence, failing which they will manage to butcher innocent lives of the world in millions and millions like insects!

Break the Brandenberg
by ajaya nathani on Feb 26, 2008 12:43 PM  Permalink

The only solution to Anarchy is to break the Brandenberg between India and Pak. Else it is only time it will slip into Political and economic colonialism in the modenr way. It is not only the fate of Pak that the third world and India should be concerned with something like "let the rouge have it nice for all his misdeeds", it should look at it as a new trend the 21st century will dawn upon pushing the world in to a race to clonise weak nations. Countries, even the enemies of Pakistan like India, will not be safe against this trend which we may look at merrily now and will pay a price later for having enjoyed the misery of our neighbour.

We fully back Musharraf, says US
by James Bond on Feb 26, 2008 11:13 AM  Permalink

This is now evident to all that US works like a company and not like a nation. It preaches differently but when it comes to practical, it owns a different face. From now on, US has no right call itself a democracy. It sees its interest in Pakistan and is least interested in helping the country to return to normalcy.

Democracy in Pakistan has always led to more terrorism
by Secular India on Feb 26, 2008 11:12 AM  Permalink

1) Benazir in her second term supported Kashmiri terrorists and created Taliban
2) Nawaz Sharif tried to pus through Shariat with the help of fundamentalist parties before getting thrown out by Mush. Nawaz also extended more support to Taliban and oversaw the Kargil operations.
3) Zulfikar Ali Bhutto started the dismantling secularism in Pakistan by changing the constitution and getting Zia Ul Haq as the Army Chief who turned against him.

Democracy will only bring back thieves and thugs like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari who will stoop to any level to hold on to power and make money.

PAKI HINDUS EXTINCTION. READ TODAYS DAWN ONLINE EDITION
by Lotan Potan on Feb 26, 2008 11:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The British Council and the British Alumni Association of Pakistan held a seminar on Feb 23 on %u201Cchildren%u2019s right; are we doing enough?%u201D

The keynote speaker and the 6 panelists expressed their views which were followed by a question and answer session for over one hour. Members of the audience asked many questions but most disturbing and heart rending was asked by an old Sindhi Hindu lawyer.

He said that that underage Hindu girls, as young as 12, were being kidnapped, forced to marry and convert to Islam. Parents%u2019 attempt to file an FIR against the culprits is not registered by the police, they take no action against the criminal, the girl is never recovered, the parents suffer life-long pain, and NGOs take no action while the media ignores it. The complaint was confirmed by the fact that the news report in the following day%u2019s newspapers on the seminar did not even mention this point.

He wanted to know why was it so? Is not kidnapping, irrespective of the faith and ethnic background of the victim, a crime under the laws of Pakistan? Are such heinous acts not un-Islamic, and immoral? Why does the state behave like a helpless bystander and why do human right organizations in Pakistan maintain a deafening silence? Do they not know what pain and humiliation it causes to the parents, particularly to the mother whose little girl is taken away forcefully and never allowed to meet her again?
