India Should not sign N-Deal unless Hyde-Act is in-favour of India. India needs Technology from USA, but also there should be complete assurane of fuel supply. In any case if India goes for nuclear test (that may not be atom bomb), and USA-allies imposes SANCTION against India, then India can not digest the impact. All nuclear power plant will sit idle and worst effect will be in energy supply and many thousands of family's (employee) future will be effected in worst way. It is not merely politics, MMSingh and Congress should think deeply, should adopt public debate inside and outside parliament and take wise decision. If Congress has guts to kick Communists out of Indian map, they should show it now. It has been proven many times Communists are traitor to the nation and human-society.

USAforign policy is the worst foreign policy. India should be fooled by them. So before signing N-deal and India should think it deeply beyond politics, Since N-power can not give full energy source to India, it will give only 8-9%.

India should not be fooled by USA. All the time USA supported Pakistan inspite of their notorious act and terrrorism off and on. Still USA is completely supporting them though the whole world knows Pakistan is the epicenter of all forom of terrorism. Through N-deal USA is going make sure NPT treaty through the back-door. Congress should not sell India to USA. Communists are hypocrite, they are just opposing anything with USA.
Communists are scared if India is more capable of combating China. They should be banned in India.
This has shown India has great leverage on USA. This reminds me of the clout Israel has in USA. USA begs Israel. If we play our hands right, we will have same kind of success.
RE:India will eventually sign it

On two condition India should sign the deal. 1. USA should stop supporting Pakistan which is using USA funds in Kashmir for sponsoring terrorism. 2. It should highly lobby for India in getting permanent seat in UN security council. If PV Narasimha Rao would have been there as PM. I think he would have got the best deal to India. He is the guy who can do anything.
USA 1st SHOULD STOP SUPPORT AND FUNDING OF TERRORIST PAKISTAN WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY AND ARMS .....THEN ONLY INDIA SHOULD THINK OF ANY DEAL WITH USA..ETC........AND SEE WHATS BENIFICIAL TO INDIA........

drk securities , They are not. YOUR LEDER SOB Karat must be send to pshychiartist. This is the question of India's image and progress. Dont forget US do have great influnce on other nations like Germany, Uk,France. We need their help too. Keep that in your little brain. RUSSIA and CHINA alone cant do this. Not going to happen.
If India don't seal this N-Deal then it will be impossible for India to get Uranium for New and old Nuclear plants. Without signing Nonproliferation Treaty India can't get Uranium for Nuclear plants from any country in the world. Australia has the world 60% of uranium reserves. And without USA concern no one in the world will give uranium to India. It is the best time for India to use USA and get uranium from his allies, after 20 -30 years India become so capable that it would not need USA for Nuclear plants.

you may be right, but dont forget like the USA even the former USSR states can pull out something like this deal :) moreover India needs all that nuclear fuel some years down the line but the politicians need votes by next year ...
US will be benefitted out of this deal as much as India. actually The powerfull lobby of Nuclear technology and equipment suppliers of US want this deal to go through as their business in US has dwindled over the years. In fact the civil nuclear technology of US has become obsolete as compared to France which is supposed to be best in the world for civilian nuclear energy technology. If the deals falls through US will lose as much as India. So no need to think that US is doing great favour by offering this deal.

Thanks for the info. Yes I could not imagine the south block blokes gettign something up-to-date for India, I thought they changed character. Now I can see that as usual their knowledgable studies are outdated and they want something cheap like that dumped and make commissions.

How can a technology transfer be bad for India? Who understand this? If India want to match China, India needs to increase its technology advancement, once we we've master this technology we can choose what to do with it. But we have to master the technology first. It's analogous to saying 300 years ago, India should not be buying guns, because UK has got too many of them and this deal is only benefiting UK. But what I am saying - learn ho to make the gun first and then we will decide on the next step. same analogy applies to Nuclear technology for civilian use. Hey commie, does China has this technology? Can we get it from China :)

Technology transfer is not bad per se. The left folks are talking about a clause in the agreement which says the USA can forcibly dismantle and take away their equipment if they have grounds of suspicion and given the paranoia of USA regarding everything, the left wants to cut off this deal. Also there are other pre conditions and post conditions. This apart from vote bank politics. chinese tech would be disaster given the (in)famous quality of chinese products.

Sahadevan KK is a crap, brain-washed communist. He is a full-timer of communists and lick their boot at the cost of family memebers.
it is to be seen whether the deal is an alrounder or not. if it is only a nuclear deal, then it could be a nuke-deal also in future, especially with Americans!!!!!!!!! or else it could be a packaged deal--a permanent membership in the security council of UN with or without veto power, a G8 expanded G9 membership or atleast a special invitee to that; tech transfer with NATO and an Australian Uranium supply and a free draw power in the World Bank/IMF like organizations; also a pack for the direct involvement and enrichment in and of Iraq and its people, whereby we would get a permanent source of curde for another 25 years at a Euro 20 to 30 per barrel per day!!! it is to be seen in the overall perspective, whether this nuke deal could bring these in in due course or not and then decide to miss or not to miss the bus!!!!!!!!!!! sankar.r.s.

Look Who's talking.....Tell me what does US gets out of this deal if India signs the agreement? Almost nothing...India has the liberty to buy reactors from any country...NOT only USA.India end a three decade isolation that its facing, plus it will have clean energy for itself without having to depend too much on other fuel resources. India will have the latest technology in N-reactors. This is the first step into becoming an equal partner in the West who needs India as much and much more for its lucrative market, and a partner in defeating terrorism, and stoping the expansion of china. India will itself get Superpower status if its able to get out of the poverty crunch. 1000's of reactors means jobs to millions of people.we will even be able to build our own reactors.India is not being stopped from testing a nuclear bomb, Iran has NEVER been our friend, it has always supported Pakis right frm our wars and in OPEC, and on Kashmir. It is a liabilty for us to hv relations with the satanic country that wants to wipe out Isreal from the map...lets not be with the loosers. It is India's economic strength that makes our neighbours jealous, and they try to harm India as much as they can, but they dont know Indian resolve, just a few politicians who line up their pockets with our enemy's money CANNOT stop India becoming a superpower.

Sovietunion screwed up our economic progress. Countries who have joined the US band wagon are doing fine. YOU SIMPLY CANT AVOID USA . THEY ARE STRONG ECONOMICALLY, POLITICALLY AND MILITARLY. LEARN TO LIVE WITH THAT. IF INDIA WANT TO BE A DEVELOPED NATION JOIN THE CLUB. G8. OR YOU CAN GO WITH CUBA AND VENEZUALA. GREAT NATIONS. WISEUP .
