Who will take care of Islam is a different thing. Everyone prays to the creator. But my request to you is, do not be afraid to analyse things with logic and reasoning.
Do not think that everything written in the Kuran are beyond reasoning. Even in our holy book too, we try to analyse what is ok, and what is not!
That will give you power not to BLINDLY follow any religion. The fundamentalism problem of Islam is the result of blind following of Islam, without reasoning, without logic.

About medicines.. go and find HONEY.. the world knows about honey, its benefits.. who discovered it? about the queen bee, who mentioned it... how many years ago... do you know that after human beings, its Ants which has the similarities of human civilization..... what about the shape of embryo..... which book discribed about embryo, its size and its look.... Right Shekhar. Very less people know the use of Honey as a medicine. Honey as far as I know is used with juice of Tulsi leaves or ginger, to cure cough. Honey with warm water melts fat (obesity).
Religion is based on science. Rituals are scientific processes. For example Putting vermillion or sandalwood paste on ones forehead is scientific - Its to protect the are from sunlight. The concept of Shiva's third eye means the location on the forehead that has powerful nervous sensation. Some people try to find proof in everything that can be provided by material science. This type of science can only be realized like we can only feel the wind.. cant see it.
By comparing science with religion, we are proving that we dont have the brains to understand deep technology.. we are satisfied with shallow ones.

Kuran's concept about creation of the world and mankind is a rip-off (copy-paste) of the Jews' holy book, because Islam took birth in there where Jews knowledge was the most influencial factor.
There is nothing scientific about it. Those ideas were the running ideas of that time in that locality (mostly due to Aristotle, Ptolemy etc). And they were proved wrong in the 18th- 19th centuries.
Kuran was so influenced by the Jews holy book that Muhammed burrowed some Jewish practices for Islam:
Not to eat pig. (Jews do not eat pig, a tradition before Muhammed was born.)
To cut foreskin of Pe*nis. (Tradition of Jews before Muhammed was born.)
Concept of Adam-Eve. (Story written by the Jews.)
When some people try to say that Muhammed started the above practices (not eating pig, cutting foreskin etc), i just feel pity for their lack of knowledge.
Specially when they try to give some "scientific reason"!
Even if some points have scientific reason (that i dont know), the credit should go to the Jews, not Muhammed. Because Muhammed just copied them from the Jews' thousand-year old concepts and practices.

every text said sun revolves. Because it is seen by the eye, from morning to evening, which always rises in the east and sets in the west.
that is not a difficult proposition. The difficult proposition was:
"Earth moves around the sun".
Your Kuran, that you are claiming to be scientific, could not say this, like any other holy book. So, Kuran is not any special, as ordinary as other books of that time.

No one can answer these, because the points raised are really unscientific.
Some educated Muslims try to answer it diplomatically that sun rotates in orbit. But that is only half of what Kuran says. The full verse of Kuran says the sun rotates around the earth and earth is the center. This is exactly what Aristotole said. Educated muslims try to hide the second part ("around the earth" ) and teach their students like that.

Brain, Do not mind. Actually, most of the things and ideas in your religion are influenced by the local people's ideas. That is why Jews and Muslims have lot of things in common. They believe in Abraham, you too. They believe in Adam-Eve, you too. (In the same context, they do not eat pig, you too. they also cut the tip of the pen*is, you too.)
Also, And compared to Jesus, Muhammed was born 700 years after Jesus' birth. Hinduism was nurtured 3000-4000 years before christ was born.

islam is the only religion which says there are 124000 prophets and Islams is the only religion which respect those prophets..... Most of the things in quran are similar to most of the things in other religion, because every religion was good before people modified it for there own uses.... Every religion teaches about SINGLE GOD...isn't it...? Quran is the only book which can be recited and millions of people around the world recite it everyday.... it is safe.. it is in millions of hearth, in there brain... which other books have been recited for centuries and still kept alive in its original form.. you can take up the quran and ask anyone who has recited the quran, you can listen them, word by word, para by para.... no other books has that ability to be memorized.

Your explanation does not really explain why Islam is better than the others. First you tried to say it is scientific. But you failed. Now you are saying that "it is the only book that can be memorised para by para".
For your information, many hindus too can memorise the whole Gita verse by verse. You may have heared about Uma Bharti. She memorised The Gita when she was 15 years old. So, do not think that Kuran is unique because it can be memorised!

shekhar and beechy..well i have been reading ur posts .You seem to be decent people who respect others religions.I will answer you as brain has answered many of your question but further i want to add about some amazing thing which you may notice in future .I dont know much about astronomy but it is said that once prophet muhammad(SAW)had directed towards moon broken in two parts. May be if Armstong and Co have really set a step on move and moved all around they must have been able to see a deep fissure.further when prophet Muhammad (SAW)had gone on mehraj(which was a travell to see the other world) prophet Muhammad(SAW)was asked to wear special clothes by Angel Jibreel or Gabriel.This had a scientific reason as we know astronomers wear special clothes as well.Secondly it tells us that prophet Muhammad (SAW) was a normal human being who could have had tremendous powers if he wised.But if you go through the life of this great prophet of islam.He never abused anyone even if that was a cruel person to him. Today people do not want to understand Islam due to the reason that they think their lifestyle is going to get effected and muslims are hated for the same reason that they will bring a religion which propagates simplicity..But indeed islam is a flexible religion in many aspects but thanks to some political mullas and crusaders islam is being targetted once more..We muslims have a word from Allah isalm stays and prospers.When god is with us ,who can be against us..thanks
