I read Raj's reply in the paper. He is clearly stating that he is NOT against migration in general or even against north indians. He is only against those people who are trying to dominate and dislodge the locals. How can you people term him as 'wrong'? And where are you people when southern states pass anti-hindi policies? You people target marathis only because they are a soft state..you know south indians won't tolerate ur non-sense, hence u steer clear of them. But now even marathis will behave just like south indians. Go find another state for urself. Go to gujrat or bengal..leave us marathis alone.

Gujratis have NOT formed a political party in maharashtra with a gujrati base. They don't behave arrogantly. They don't really spread dirt around. Garba and dandiya are not celebrated with political motives at all. In fact, there are a number of marathis living happily in gujrat and thus both communities have no problems with each other. Besides, Modi is developing gujrat in such a way that number of migrants from gujrat is going down..they are happy in their own state.

Official estimates put the figure of workers who left Pune over the last fortnight in the wake of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's (MNS) anti-North Indian rhetoric at over 25,000, adversely affecting many projects of the construction industry which employs the skilled and unskilled labour from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
To make things worse, the city was agog with rumours that February 25 would see another spate of violence in Maharashtra, triggering a fresh wave of migrant labourers rushing to catch north-bound trains and buses.
The vitiated atmosphere got the authorities concerned as District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar and Collector Prabhakar Deshmukh held meetings of various people's representatives to scotch the rumours and to reassure the jittery workforce.
They were joined by local Congress MP Suresh Kalmadi, who picketed at Pune railway station to allay fears of those boarding the trains with their family members, carrying meagre belongings.

PS: In Assam Bihar folks were gunned down. That is ethnic cleansing. No one on this MMB raised a noise then.
Though North India are not good in many aspect. But their contribution towards India is very significant. What Raj will tell of Good intellectuals of Nort India (IAS, Engineers, and Doctors) and Hard working labours. If people of other place have capability they will get important positions. and will not Cry like Raj Thakre. Its survival of fittest. If North Indians (Bihar , UP) will go on strike all activity of India will halt. But if Marathi will go to strike nothing much will happen. Raj Thakre is feeling insecure and his future is very dark. He should have motivated Marathi for progress. This is shame for Marathi.
Original citizen of India are Schedule Tribe Only. So Leave India to Schedule Tribe.

No right thinking man can support Raj Tackeray's brash Politics. But You should see it as a reaction to the dirty Politics of people like Mulayam,Lalloo,Mayavati,Paswan,Amar Singh,etc. How can you explain the closeness of the Bachan Family,Jayapradha and others with Goonda Party of Abu Azim Azmi? having spoiled Bihar for 15 Years what right Lalloo has to come to Mumbai for Chat Puja? Can there be a worse Regionalist than Karunanidhi? Why the Commie Oldies from Kolkatta become "Bengalees" when ganguly is dropped from the indian Cricket team?
