We'll not tolerate dadagiri here
by raj on Feb 24, 2008 07:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

First Raj Thackeray should warn(dadagiri) the local Maharastran Builders and Factory Owners who are giving more preference to Bihar cheap labors then Locals.
Bihar labors demand less salary then Locals.
Same as Indian labors go to Gulf and West for work on less Salary.
Raj Thackeray first do dadagiri on Local Builders and Factory Owners who are calling cheap labors from different parts of India.

Why did Britishers gave Independence????
by Jitesh Kumar Agrawal on Feb 24, 2008 07:14 PM  Permalink

Looking at the state of affairs in this country be it politicians or the thinking of common man I feel it would had been had Britishers still ruled us....just look at the way we all are fighting among ourselves at least under colonial rule India was united, people felt for others and respected others now a days the thinking is who cares the damn about others be it his relatives.

Abuse others or stoop down to any level to make your presence felt even though nobody cares a damn about you.....and the funny thing is we havent been still able to come out of colonial rule mentality....we still bend from waist against any foreigner but dont want to respect fellow Indians.

Whats the point cursing Raj or north indians for that matter.

Mumbai should be renamed Bombay and declared a union territory directly under center.

The MNS should be banned.

I pity Biharis
by Fun Lover on Feb 24, 2008 07:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I sometimes feel sorry for Biharis. It is Bihari politicians who indulge in Gundagiri, but Biharis get a bad name for that. One of my friends told me that in Delhi Railway Stations, the Railway police treat Bihari workers like scum. Delhi CM Sheila Dixit has made comments against Biharis. And now in Maharashtra, it is the turn of Raj Thackeray and his gang. But let us not forget that the old undivided Bihar was a source of natural resources like coal for the rest of India. UP and Bihar also produce lot of food for the rest of the country. I am from AP and AP mostly produces rice, so we get wheat from North Indian states. I really love the chapatis made from wheat produced in UP. Also, I am an atheist, but culturally speaking, UP has contributed a lot to the Hindu culture of India. Unfortunately, UP and Bihar are less developed because of politicians and over-population. As Indians, we should take this opportunity to seriously demand from our politicians that they develop these two states. I hope my fellow Telugu people in Hyderabad will never resort to the same tactics that are being used by Raj Thackeray. I want to remind Marathi people that successive Indian governments have concentrated a lot on developing Mumbai at the expense of places like UP and Bihar. So my dear fellow Marathis, you are Indians first and Marathis next. Don't be so harsh with your brothers and sisters from UP and Bihar.

i thought he is literate and hold some sense ...but his correlation to other events and what he is doing and thinking shows he damn frustrated and is a complete non sense person.
His speech shows just he was trying to recreate the situtaion to gain political edge as Bal thakery did to gujrati , tamils in past .
But he is just trying to learn politics and justifying his killings .... what a shame ...if u want to throw outsider ..then change the constitution and every thing will fall in place.......u r molesting poor bihaaris and buring their houses ....and justyfying ur point ...

The solution
by Suraj Singh on Feb 24, 2008 07:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In India, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Gujarat have the potential to grow as the fastest growing Chinese coastal provinces of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. GDP growth in the hinterland has lagged behind the coastal states by several percentage points per year.

There is a vast amount of economic reform that can be carried out to improve conditions in rural India, especially in the Gangetic valley.

There is no reason for expensive and counter-productive charity for the northern states, and still less any case for holding back the fast-growing coastal regions.
The government's commitment, both at the national and state level should be that every village will be assured at least clean water, a road to the regional market, reliable power, and minimal telephone service; but that every village will be responsible for covering the commercial costs of those services on a normal user-fee basis.

In particular, Bihar, UP, Orissa and Rajasthan are in dire need of reform. Bihar is the most underdeveloped state of India, perhaps, followed by Uttar Pradesh.

Dear SM, I think either you are blind or you are having sick menatality like Raj. There are n number of Marathis ourside Maharashtra what if every one is thrown back. By the means Raj is reacting agagainst the traditions of UP and Biharis, what if every place starts reacting against each other. No one will be allowed to live in any place apart from his native place. Maratha Marta nahi marta hai, shayad tumhe malum nahi hai maratha ka itihaas, marathi humesha chupke war karta hai. Peeth peeche ghaat karta hai, takata hai to samane se waar kare to batayega dadagiri kise kahte hain.........
