Raj
by veerendra yadav on Feb 24, 2008 07:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whatever we say Raj is pointing a future problem. He may be wrong by method and purpose but yes it is a problem. Bihari/UP icons(amitabh Bachaan) should have think something for UP rather than setteling in Bombay. He deserve to be prime minister og Maharastra like Gina and Nehru.

Amitabh Bachaan started a girl's school in UP, which was a noble work. Raju couldn't accept that. He wishes the school should have been in Maharashtra!

The whole point is he wants publicity. He is just trying to unite Marathi people against North Indians particularly people from UP and Bihar who are a soft target.

Seperate Bombay
by Gaurav Goel on Feb 24, 2008 07:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bomabay should be seperated from Maharashtra. The fact is marahi have done nothing in the development of Bombay. Deshmukh has failed us. Make Bombay a seperate Union territory. Marathis should better show their aggression in Jobs and growth rather than driving out Northy.

What is Raj's problem?
by Super User on Feb 24, 2008 07:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most Indians who live outside India still call themselves Indian, even after living for more than 15-20 yrs in US and UK. So, what is wrong in Amitabh calling himself Chora Ganga kinare wala, after all he was born in Allahabad. Wouldnt a Marathi born in Delhi call himself Maharashtrian?

Also, if UP or Bihari wants to invite a politician for Chat puja, it is their prerogative, Raj cannot say who they can or cannot invite. Similarly if a Maharashtrian does not want to invite Sharad Powar for Ganesh Puja, thats their prerogattive!

Raj is bigot, who basically jealous of outsiders doing well in Mumbai. He is now trying to find reasons to justify his hatred.

Only Amar & Abu is responsible for the whole issue.
by SM on Feb 24, 2008 07:37 PM  Permalink

Only Amar & Abu is responsible for the whole issue. Everybody was living here very peacefully. But Abu challenge local Marathi & who got the answer, to all UP Bihar persons. What is meaning of Maratha, Mar ta hain per hat ta nahi hain. Chatt puja is part of tradition, Raj have not taken any objection on that. But celebrating UP day & insulting / challenging locals mother tounge is not good. I request to all UP / Bihar politician instead of spreading violence in our state, they should progress their states in such a way that we maharashtrians will feel to come their to earn our bread n butter to feed our family.

As long as I'm an Indian, I'll live wherever I desire in India. States were organised for better admin and to avoid any linguistic abiguity. States were never created to harbour a feeling of communal hatred. In my eyes, there's no Maharshtran, no Goan, No Kanndigan. Only and Indian. It's with peabrains like this guy, our nation has suffered. I say we reclaim some land from the sea, and dump these nuts in there.

PUNE - If you live in these areas, beware!
by fire desire on Feb 24, 2008 07:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

PUNE: Citizens better watch out, particularly if you live any of the 18 localities which has been identified by the city crime branch as %u2018most prone%u2019 to house break-ins and thefts (HBTs).

An analysis of 2,300 HBTs reported in 2007 by the crime branch has revealed that it is not just the fringe areas, such as Chinchwad village, Nigdi, New Sangvi, Dhankawadi and Mithanagar, but upmarket areas like Shivajinagar, are also prone to house break-ins. These are the localities that figure prominently in the list prepared by the crime branch.

Other areas include Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA), Bhosari, Hadapsar, Wanowrie, Old Sangvi, Kalewadi, Aundh, Yerawada, Bibvewadi, Tingrenagar and Kondhwa.

In fact, Chinchwad village, Nigdi, PCNTDA, Hadapsar and Wanowrie had reported over 20 HBTs each in 2007.

The remaining localities saw between 90 to 110 cases of thefts and house break-ins last year. There are 50 more areas, such as Sadashiv Peth, Nana Peth, F.C. road, Prabhat road, J.M. road, Sinhagad road, Maharshinagar and Handewadi, among others, which reported between 50 to 100 HBTs in 2007.

The common modus operandi employed by thieves was breaking locks or cutting window grills to enter the house.

Other methods deployed were breaking door latch, use of duplicate keys to open locks and driving holes in the walls of jewellery shops.

1)Todays India is getting Lot of Dollar Inflow from countries like USA, in the name of so called development, darky south indians and bengali, marathi etc command the white mans sympathy and guilt complex, earlier their saviours were the british white man, now it is their american white Uncle Sam.

As you will see the fanaticism of a south indian for english rejecting the national language hindi. And for sure they plague of language politics have spread to the whole india and it has racial overtones too. Fair and dark races with in india.

Hyderabad has around 40 % Muslim population right from the time of Nizam. So don't blame North Indians for Urdu in Hyderabad. I am a Telugu guy, but if I want to interact with Muslims in Hyderabad who don't know Telugu, then I have to use Hindi. So stop putting the blame on North Indians. Dude, I lived in Hyderabad for more than 15 years. Don't try to fool me about Hyderabad.
