Caste system is killing UP and Bihar. It is the fundamental reason for backwardness of these states. The south Indian states and even Gujarat and Maharashtra to some extent have weakened the evil caste system and built better societies. The question is are the people from UP and Bihar specially the upper caste going to do some retrospection or are they going to continue being racist and keep on fanatically supporting the caste system. What goes around, come around, the racist treatment these guys meted out to people from their own states is being meted to them from the people of Maharashtra. With rise in income of people from Maharastra and their stomachs being full, they have moved to the next level, hate. But I dobt the fanatic supporters of caste system from UP and Bihar are going to do anything about dismentling the caste sytem. In their family of 10 people they will continue to identify with the 2 fair color long nosed people, cooling ignoring rest of the 8 people who don't have fair color and long nose and resemble the lower castes. Living in thier blind ego-mania and self-denial they will continue to support the caste system, till the entire population of UP and Bihar is labelled as the new dalits of India.

Many people will say that why Marathi people are not talking about Tata, Ambani. Listen we don't call them to Mumbai . They came here with their own choice when they come o know that they don't have any future in their own states. Maharastra give them a place and they become Amabani and Tata, Birla . They were no one when they are in their own state. similarly many indians go to aboard and earn their name. I am also against what are happening in Mumbai.

I am sure migrants from the North would have learnt Marathi had it been a good language. Look at Biharis in Kolkata, they learn Bengali. The reason is clear, Bengali is a language with a high culture. While Marathi is a language with a very Dehati sounds, and inferior culture. Moreover, Marathis wear black topi, geeky eye-glasses, black bund-gala coat, dhoti, and always carry an umbrella, even during summers. Thus their dress sense is also very Dehati. If Marathis had things their way, each male in India will look like Gopal Krishna Gokhle or Lokmanya Tilak! Thus it is an indisputable fact that Marathi culture is an inferior culture which very few outsiders can like.

It's wrong to say that Bengali is superior language and Marathi is inferior. Atleast Biharis don't do that. Bihari languages as well as Bengali derive from that same ancient Magadhi Prakrit language which existed in ancient Magadh. So Biharis might find Bengali easier to understand then Marathi.
