Dear Sayed please send at pachmarhi@gmail.com I reside near satpura tiger reserve & pachmarhi sanctueary . I will be thankful to you.
indian govt cannot stop the over growing population of people, residents of india know how to multiply every year so they shold set an example to the tigers, show them how to multiply their population.
I have stopped reading these articles for some time now. I have resigned to the fact that these magnificent animals are living in borrowed time only. I used to go for tiger census also at one time. I have seen them from very close quaters. Sad to say the root cause of this problem is same the ugly face of our politicians. People living around such parks get away with anything because they have voting power not the tiger. Rangers are beaten mercilessly if they stop these people entering the forest. If tigers kills one cow/buffalow you can rest assure that villages will kill ten tigers and will get away because the political leaders are with them. I feel privilage that I saw these tigers in wild but I cannot say this thing about the future genrations. SAD

Yes I share your disgust about the manner in which an arrogant two legged beast called the Homo Sapian destroys the flaora and fauna based on a belief that he has the first right on all the resources that this planet has to offer. Only the stupid would even suspect that politicians will step in correct this. Their priority doesnot include the wildlife unless beasts are also given voting rights. So is there hope of survival for the wildlife . Prima Facie no but more going deeper there is one . Mother nature , please dont confuse it with God , has a thumb rule of destroying any species that refuses to work within her template. With global warming , Ozone layer depletion, weather changes etc the issue of future generations have the previlage of seeing the tiger may not be relevent . Even if the tigers could miraculously be saved there maybe no "future generation' around to have the previlage to see them. Man must correct his anti nature stand and fall into the template that was created for every single thing animate or otherwise on the earth. If he doesnot do so nature would simply shrug him off!
My father when he was SDO, Electrical in one of the poorest and backward districts of India, during his younger days used to go to the jungles to clear the faults so that he could save his skin from the marauding public which only likes uninterrupted supply of electricity no matter how it may restored, used to see tigers crossing the road once in ten expeditions. Even I managed to see those illusive beings once travelling in a truck with him, in one such expeditions. But now i never heard of such stories from any of his junior colleagues, who worked there after him. tigers need protection.

Not only Tiger, There should be protection to each of the Species. Even I used to hear the similar things while treking in different parts of Sahyadri range & "Paschim Ghat". It's true I hardly hear anything Except Leopard entering frequently in & around of cities like Pune & Nashik .
As a tiger kills only when hungry and lives in its habitate the forest with no danger to man kind,it is the man who are to blame if the tigers come out of forest which are cut down, where will these poor creatures who do not wish to harm us deliberately go when they are forced to come out of forest as forests are destroyed.Where is the conscience of those animals who kill them for fun and money, the tigers have more conscience when they are not hungry. So hope some sense will prevail in those animals who live to kill and destroy the beauty of the world which lies in the forests brutally.
