tamilian going to first hindi class
by Vivek Vikram Sridharan on Feb 22, 2008 08:16 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

DS and other national language office bearers,

I am going to my first hindi class since you say it is our national language. But before I reach my class , I have one quick question. Would you go by same national language logic and ask me to raise our national animal ( its tiger incase your hindi teacher didnt teach you :P pun intended ) at home ? Just concerned and obviously sweating.

We do have the combined guilt with true Aryan in India and that is why the true Aryans banish Aryan-Dravid as Theory even though the genetics indicates something else.

Why are you slipping back into dark hole of Xenophobia and fear again. The extra freedom you have to be put on fear by local poli'tics'. We can't get you out of your fear, sorry.

That is why India needs to go to Moghuls in Pakistan who were rulers before British or to China who can make it clean like Tibet.

PUNE - If you live in these areas, beware!
by fire desire on Feb 22, 2008 08:16 AM  Permalink

PUNE: Citizens better watch out, particularly if you live any of the 18 localities which has been

identified by the city crime branch as %u2018most prone%u2019 to house break-ins and thefts (HBTs).

An analysis of 2,300 HBTs reported in 2007 by the crime branch has revealed that it is not just the

fringe areas, such as Chinchwad village, Nigdi, New Sangvi, Dhankawadi and Mithanagar, but upmarket

areas like Shivajinagar, are also prone to house break-ins. These are the localities that figure

prominently in the list prepared by the crime branch.

Other areas include Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA), Bhosari, Hadapsar,

Wanowrie, Old Sangvi, Kalewadi, Aundh, Yerawada, Bibvewadi, Tingrenagar and Kondhwa.

In fact, Chinchwad village, Nigdi, PCNTDA, Hadapsar and Wanowrie had reported over 20 HBTs each in

2007.

The remaining localities saw between 90 to 1100 cases of thefts and house break-ins last year.

There are 50 more areas, such as Sadashiv Peth, Nana Peth, F.C. road, Prabhat road, J.M. road,

Sinhagad road, Maharshinagar and Handewadi, among others, which reported between 5 to 10 HBTs in

2007.

The common modus operandi employed by thieves was breaking locks or cutting window grills to enter

the house.

Other methods deployed were breaking door latch, use of duplicate keys to open locks and driving

holes in the walls of jewellery shops.

There is nothing like your or mine land or people of some land. We can give your land to Sri-lanka and then it becomes their problem.

ALL LAND IN INDIA BELONG TO INDIA, NOT TO TAMIL OR MAHARASTRA. If we give it to sri-lanka or pakistani or china, it is theirs.

National language is Hindi whether you speak it or not. If we don't impose hindi on you, you can't do it on us.

Dear D S or whatever your name is
Only linguistic chavinists like you claim Hindi as the national language whereas the Indian constitution doesn't. Its just an official language like others. Tamil language is one of the ancient and the oldest living language in the world. Tamilians are trying to protect its legacy and resist the forceful imposition(in fact, Hindi is not necessary as English). If you people can feel proud of a dumb language (with no grammatical text of its own) like Hindi, why not tamilians for their rich, ancient language with volumes of scintillating literature?.

Mr. Vallabhbhai Patel the then Home Minister brought all the states under one roof about 60 years before. But later on Congress of Jawaharlal Nehru divided these states on the basis of languages. What Patel had done for the integrity and oneness of Bharatvarsha are destroyed by power hungry politicians after 1952.
Now there is a demand for Telangana. Britishers were wise administrators who divided whole India in five zones. Now we have more than 24 states which were 17 before 60 years. We are unfit for Democracy.
