Both combinations are dangerous. Bush-Mush and Pak
by True Indian on Feb 20, 2008 10:09 PM  Permalink

Its a truth that Pakistan wants to channelise AlQaida and Taliban against India on Kashmir dispute. Luckily, due to US, Mush is fighting a proxy war against them. As long as that goes, it will be good for India.
Hence supporting Republicans in US is equivalent to benefiting India. Its better to have Mush as dictator so that terrorist grps remain against Pak people.

Zardari
by Fried Yakov on Feb 20, 2008 07:46 PM  Permalink

It seems that Zardari wanted power sharing with Musharraf and this would not have happened if Benazir was alive. So, in a secret truck with Musharraf, he got Benazir eliminated- both of them benefitted from this- Musharraf retains his power and Zardari becomes the head of the government (which he would never have been if Benazir was alive), and gets all corruption cases against him dismissed. In politics, especially when dominated by 'taqiya', anything can happen.

Politics me sab kuchh hota haai
by Checksum Error on Feb 20, 2008 03:15 PM  Permalink

I just feel that it was on the cards and Benazir was the one who was eliminated bcoz she would not have allowed it. Now that she is no more, it is easier to deal with puppets...Musharraf wins all the way leaving Nawaz Sharif sucking his thumb

What will the Terrorist do?
by subodh joshi on Feb 20, 2008 03:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My fear is that if the terrorist are happy with the political arrangement in Pakistan, they will turn their attention to India. So for our own safety it is best that the Terrorist remain engaged in Pakistan. Any comments?

PPP-Musharraf Deal with US Blessings
by Rajesh Vyas on Feb 20, 2008 02:55 PM  Permalink

There is nothing new in this. The late Benazir was all ready to strike a deal with the dictator most loved by the U S A>

A deal was always on the cards and Benazir's opposition to the dictator was only a front. Zardari is now going to convert his late wife's dream into a reality.

It is sad that the architect of this deal and the USA's lackey Benazir is not around
