USA HAS VERY LARGE STOKPILES OF NECLEAR WEAPONS....AND THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF EVEN DESTROYING A SMALL PORTION OF THEIR STOCKPILES...WHOM DO THEY WANT THOSE NEUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR....BUT THEY ARE TRYING TO RESTRICT INDIA FOR DEVELOPING SELF MADE NEUCLEAR WEAPONS......
No deal means no deal. Why our PM doesn't understand English. Please don't sell the country. We don't need US relationship. They are started threatening us by telling the stories. They are the one cuntry ruining all others peaceful life and pretending they are the mediator. They don't like any other country to grow little further than them.

Bongs and keralites are not bothered about india as they vote for left front year after year.Left front is pro muslim organization which is blocking Taslima(writer)in kolkata and Indo-nuclear deal.India will be the loser.

Narayanguru,
"Bongs" is a very offensive and racist way of describing Bengalees. I hurts a lot of people. I dont know how many Bengalees are against the deal. But in today's world what can you do to shape country's foreign policy as an individual?
What have you done for Taslima? She is under house arrest by the Communist and the Congress.. There are many things we hear, feel strongly yet cant do anything. Although we live in a democracy, its true for all democracies, that individual has power only during voting. After that what control can we have on the Govt policies as an individual? Who has time to organise street protests? Think about it. So, please dont blame whole of Bengal and Kerala for N-Deal or anything. Thats not well taken.
I also request you to refrain from using abusive words to describe a large a section of Indian citizens. What happened to your sense of respect?

Condolisa Rice and Senators are frightening our PM and our reformers. MMS must recognise what were happened Mushraff, Tony Blair, Japan PM, and Australian PM.
India should go ahead with nuclear deal only if US agrees to unconditional acceptance of the Indian government stand of entire Jammu and Kashmir being part of Indian Union. Further the US should also urge Pakistan and China to vacate the occupied Kashmiri territory

Lijjat Papad......AT THE MOMENT USA IS SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING WITH TERRORIST COUNTRIES....BUT PAKISTAN...THE BIGGEST TERRORIST COUNTRY IS AN ALLY OF USA .YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW THAT USA HAS ALWAYS SUPPILIED PAKISTAN WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF SOFICIATED WEAPONS....AND IS STILL SUPPLING PAKISTAN WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO BUY WEAPONS OF THEIR CHOICE

So far the only technology people like you have developed has caused India's population to balloon to 1.2 billion. Do you know what "our own technology" is that you are talking about?

Kamal Mutneja , Why dont you send Karat the Traitor to China. You commies never learn. You guys believe in 18th century philosphy.
Guys, let me share one thing with you... I live in New York... I have US citizenship and I have all the rights here... But I am still proud of something in India... Dr. Singh is one of them... Let me tel you one real story.... One day I was having some political discussion with my office friends (All are americans). There was a group photo of Bush and Dr. in one of the magazine and Kevin (ONe of my friend) asked me that is this the PM of india. I proudly said "yes, He is the most Educated leader of the world". everybody was amazed! they googled it on the net and found that yes! actually Dr. SIngh is the most qualified and educated leader. Story begins from here... Than debate moved to Mr. Bush and there was only one word from everybody "DUMBO".... I request you all guys please respect some people including Dr. Singh and Dr. Kalam.

It is a fact that this "Most Educated Leader of the World" is anti-hindu and so is his party. Your calling some one as moron does not make them one. India is a free country and you are eligible to your opinion. Incidentally many others, not politically aligned, too feel that the PM and indeed his party are anti-Hindu. Not that that should convince you to other view point.

Great. But, ironically, the "Most Educated Leader" in the world is just a puppet, who is controlled by his Boss (who incidentally enjoys lots of power with hardly any responsibility)and also by Alliance partners. This "Most Educated Leader" has no control over his own Ministry.
Having a "Dumbo" leading your country is probably not as bad as it would seem, going by the example of the USA.

BOB, We were licking the the butt of Soviet Union for the past 44 yrs. What progress we made economically? What happened to one time super power Soviet? You seems one hell of a anti West. I bet you love to have their products. Reality is no matter how you look at it. EU , US, Japan and Australia you cant avoid. They are all powerful economy . NOT YOUR COMMIE nations.

all this "puppet" talk is plain rubbish. It was started by BJP so that they could polarise the country and gain all hindu votes and rule the country. BJP is playing vote bank politics big time. If you call Dr singh as a puppet, then call Advani as a poodle to Musharaff..

Dear Sir, what you have mentioned is exactly correct and reflects the great personalities. But you know qualification alone won't suffice to be a great leader. The leader should allways lead from front and should not be a puppet. Regards Dr.Mohan

Dr.Mohan . If a PM get little close to the US then he is a puppet. What do you call past PMs like Mrs.Gandhi. Soviet puppet? This not the question of who is puppet to whom? This is the question of national interest. In geo politics, yesterdays enimies are today's allies. US ,Japan, and Germany are fine example. And all those nations are major economies. Unlike your Soviet Union. Good luck, Wiseup doctor.
India should consider this nuclear deal even though the communists and BJP put hurdles. What the US senators saying is right: Time is running out. We need cooperation in Civil Nuclear Energy with USA. Some people doubt about US policy, but why should we afraid of anything that didn't took. Don't trouble the trouble until trouble trouble to you is the English say. So, our PM should take bold decision without bothering of Communists and BJP leaders.
.....See how totally desperate the US has become to make India sign the N - Deal. Looks like it has staked everything on the line with much, much more to gain than meets the eye or is being publicised by US. REDIFF also has been promised a sizeable chunk of the gains by these US Masters to keep the matter burning alive every now & then.Jaroor daal mein kaala hai. JARA SAMBHAL KE "MANNU", JARA SAMBHAL KE; BAATO MEIN NA A JAANA, "SONIA JAAN" KE.
