hail raj
by sspatil on Feb 20, 2008 07:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

some times i feel what raj did was right, look at these situation, at the time of state reorganization in 1950's, most of the people in belgaum(80%) , raichur(90%) and bellary(80%) were kanadigas.

as the time moved on karanataka state progressed and many development activites were carried, this lead to migration from the under developed neighbour state district from AP,TN,Maharastra to karnataka.

As the years passed, migrant population increased and these people are asking these district from karanataka states to be added to there state.

Patil,,,as the history has it written in black and white your claim on Belgaum is as phoney as your claim to be a Kannadiga. So stop making up history to satisfy your need of self proclaimation. I have relavtives in the area of Karwar,Nipani and Belgaum and I know for sure what heritage and tradition, culture they follow. Nobody speaks Kannada in their household. Besides Konkani,Marathi and English and broken Hindi no other languages are followed. Most of people of Dharwad,Hubli, Ankola, Manglore, Belgaum, Nipani, Karwar, Bhatkal, Kumta and rest of north and south kanara speak only Konkani in their household. And I don't think Konkani has anything to do with Kannada. Get your facts straight and mind checked. So stop Kannada Govt. propaganda to manipulate your point of view. You sould like one of your stupid leaders namely Gouda.

Other than changing name

dividing people on the basis of caste and religion. The leaders have not done much for public.
Because these lazy bums know that changing name is easy, Changing/improving infrastructure, providing water, electricity, improving the condition of farmers are tough ones.

Rather than being jealous or angry, why don't we work together for an India where everybody is equal and all languages are welcome everywhere? Why don't we recognize that all Indian languages are as beautiful as our culture? Every language is the Godess Saraswathi herself. Why don't we acknowledge that every Indian is a friend? How do we expect to progress if we get divided on lines of language too? Are not the existing divisions on class and caste not enough?

Dude gorget about language..people in Andhra are now fighting over region even after having common language - TELUGU

They want ANDHRA to be broken to TELANGANA, ANDHRA and RAYALASEEMA

We teach about UNITY and fight to get separated from being ONE.

The real name of Bangalore was always Bengaluru and kannadigas always referred it to as Bengaluru. If Bombay can be mumbai, madras can be chennai whats the problem in Bengaluru

don't laugh there is a way out of this mess.

In Kolkatta all the propah people at Calcutta Club
still say Calcutta.

In Madras ... let's leave it till they
remove those dark glasses. Chennai Chenni Chinndi, (get creative now). But as far as I
know they never said Madras. They pronounced
it Med-drass.

In Mumbai only we ghats and ofcourse the Gujjus
who speak in Marathi (or Gujarati) use Mumbai.
The rest say Bumbai... which irks some of our
Marathi manoos with quirks due to our collective
inferiority complex ... but not the likes of:

Usha Kiron, Shanta Gokhale and many more some
of whom are listed below. I Have heard say
BOMBBAY.

Dinesh Keskar at Boeing

Vikram Pandi CEO of CITGROUP

Sachin Tendulkar

Kirloskars

Lokmanya TILAK

Dr Kashinath Ghanekar

V Shataram, Chitalkar Ramchandra, Vasant Desai,
Master Bhagwan, Master Dattarm, Nanda, Nootan &
Tanuja and Shobhana (their mother), Lata, Asha,
Suman Kalyanpur, Usha Mangeshkar, MadhuriDixit,
Varsha Usgaonkar, Shilpa Shirodkar, Urmila Martondkar, Namtra Shirodkar, Shobha Khote, Durga Khote, Viju Khote and so on and on ...

Those who were born or brought up in Bombay will say Bombbay.

So do you still want a beng a luru, in english,
go right ahead.

Yes, i think so that Kannadigas are real idiots, because they are tolerating people like you to come here, reap money. I think Kannadigas should and will in fact in near furture adopt the same strategy as what has happened in maharashtra. Then you people will know who is a idiot.......
