JGN,you have become an expert in bible you moron, so take the plunge and become a christian. And not bad you see verses in the bible only you can see, so a true miracle and you can become a saint also! Millions of widows jumped into the fire goaded by selfish barbaric brahmin families with the sole aim of coveting their properties and ridding themselves of a nuisance. What about that ?

Then what are the reasons? Tell my friend.
I saw several poor people in my locality converted to Christians only because they are offered money to convert. My friends family too converted to christianity since my friend was offered a good job and my friend's sister who is deaf and dumb was married to a christian.

For what reasons the USA is sending money to churches and religious preachers?? They are giving target for every religious preachers to convert people to christianity

There are over 30% hindus under poverty line. As per your logic all those people must have been converted. But it did not happen. You try to give money to muslims to convert, I bet, you cannot convert even a few hundred. Hindus convert because they could not get spritual bliss that christianity gives.

Christianity is a highly profitable business and finances an industry of deceit to keep the show on the road.

Yogis do not convert. They show the right way. It is upto your choice to choose or leave. By doing Yoga you can have a harmony of Body, mind and soul.
With this you can realize God may be it is Jesus or Jagan. No one stops you.

To preach that your religion alone is good is bad.

"Jesus is the only way" this is bad.

That is not religious harmony.

Missionaries
by Dheeraj Akula on Feb 20, 2008 03:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Quote from Desmond Tutu:

When the missionaries came to Africa, they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, "Let us pray." We closed our eyes. When we opened them, we had the Bible and they had the land.

Same story all over the world.

I already asked him. He said his grandparents suffered a lot due to the so-called uppercaste hindus and they got relief only after embracing christianity. He has told me how missionaries fought for basic human-rights for socalled lowcastes.

Hi Dheeraj,

Do you know who Desmond Tutu is? Desmond Tutu is a Christian bishop who fought relentlessly against apartheid and is considered an icon in African socio-politico-religious circles. And what he says is absolutely correct. However, you attempt to paint all missionaries with the swathe of a colonial brush. And you might even have a point there. Only, the same argument that was valid in the 19th century is dismally anachronistic in the 21st. And you are quite intelligent to grasp what I mean.

Criticism is fine, but abuse and diatribe does you immense discredit.

I merely quoted what Desmond Tutu said.

Desmond Tutu was alive as recently as 2003 and I hope he is still alive.

He was a Christian, but he was unlike most other Christians. He also converted to different religions.

God has only one son (Jesus).

He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. -- John 3:18

God sent his only begotten son into the world. -- 1 John 4:9

Adam was also God's son.

Adam, which was the son of God. Luke 3:38
