NEW DELHI: A meeting at Darul Uloom at Deoband next week, expected to be attended by ulema from over 6,000 madrassas including those affiliated to other sects like Barelvis and Ahl-e-Hadiz, will deliberate on the need to take a stand against groups which justify terrorism as being sanctioned by Islam.
The day-long discussions have been planned in view of terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed arguing that violence against non-believers, including innocent bystanders, was part of religious duty and was theologically approved by Deoband's Darul Uloom.
"We have condemned terrorism earlier. But this time we felt that as an institution, the Darul Uloom had to take an initiative to make it clear that Islam does not sanction terrorism and that Deobandis do not believe in this either," said Maulana Mahmood Madani, general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind.
The organisers of the conclave said terrorist tanzims, which drew ideological inspiration and recruited fighters from madrassas in Pakistan, have argued that teachings of Deoband were their inspiration.
"We want to say that what happens in their madrassas is their business. We are keen to make it clear that killing innocents, let's say someone walking on the road, is not justified in Islam," said the school's deputy rector Qazi Usman.
The task before the meeting, which is slated to take place on February 25, will comprise offering a theological explanation repudiating the "divine" duty claimed by

man.tomorrow india is no more with hindus.Its going to be islam majority or christian majority.
Hindus will become minority or will be non-existent in india in near future.
You hindus dont come to srilanka and spoil us again. Better convert to other religions.

HYDERABAD: Sixteen suspected ISI agents, nine of them Bangladesh nationals, were nabbed from Gorakhpur Express at Secunderabad railway station on Sunday evening. They were travelling in Gorakhpur-Bangalore express (train no.2591), South Central Railway (SCR) sources said. On a tip-off by a railway ticket examiner on suspicion of the railway passengers, the railway police apprehended 16 persons and handed over to task force police who whisked them away for questioning, SCR sources said. However, the city police commissioner B Prasad Rao said only eight passengers, who were hailing from Bangladesh, were taken into custody. Without giving further details the Commissioner said "we are verifying their antecedents" and it will take two to three days to come to a conclusion whether they have any links with terrorist outfits". However, unconfirmed reports said 16 passengers were nabbed from the train.

NEW DELHI: After Christian groups, a Muslim organisation has joined the quota race by challenging in Supreme Court validity of the 1950 Presidential Order limiting reservations to scheduled castes in Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism, and sought reservation benefit for Dalit Muslims. Though both Christianity and Islam PROHIBIT practice of caste-system & consider everyone equal, the petitioners point to commissions headed by Justice Ranganath Misra &Rajinder Sachar. A PIL filed by Akhil Maharashtra Muslim Khatik Samaj on Friday stated that there were Dalits within Muslim community who needed reservation, a benefit extended to similarly placed persons in Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism. The petitioner said though Hindu Khatiks (those who slaughter animals) were included in the SC category, the Muslim Khatiks were not, despite being in the same social strata and facing similar discrimination. Muslim Khatiks are generally considered as Ajlaf it said. Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan issued notice to the Centre seeking its response on the issue, it asked the petitioner whether Islam permitted caste-system. Since when have the Muslims have started following caste-system? It is surprising. We thought that it had only rich and poor divide. Never give it up, provide straightforward & simple scientific reasoning and stress your missionary to respond with the same logical reasoning. He cant do it on the next 5000 years. How can Noah load all 100 billion species of plants and animals in one ship (bible says it's a boat) at a time. First the whole two of every animal male and female. How could that be possible, not only is it a pain to gather up EVERY animal, but two of each sex. How this is possible. How long would it take a group of 100 people today to do that? He was one man. Now lets say that the animals just mystically all came on there own. How did he feed them? How did he know what animals were coming and what they ate? I read something about not being able to eat animal flesh back then so what would Noah do for the animals that ate flesh. Where did he get all this food from what happened if Noah missed some animals, they must be extinct now? Maybe some of the animals died upon the ark and now are gone completely. Did he bring every breed of every species? So he brought every type of every animal wow he is good. The biggest ship today cant even hold the weight that Noahs ark must have had. It was a wooden ship carrying, who knows how much weight. All the supplies, the food for not only him and his familybut for the animals, and of course the creatures themselves.

Mr.Chola king, i am a buddhist. Lord buddha has given us how to reason everything.Even if christians and muslims dont know we sinhalese can explain to them with the knowledge given by buddha which obiviousl indians dont have.I read your message. Assume noah as buddha. In your place i would assume that buddha would have taken all smaller ones in male and female. Isnt not? How easy is to feed the smaller very young ones in animals and birds man.
Think man. Dont always think negative. Thatswhy all hindus has to convert to buddhists so that you wont get covert ideas.
