i think musharaff was the best thing that happened to Pakistan. He has, to some extent, saved it from the jehadis and corrupt politicos, Mr. 10% and Sharif are hardly the paragon of virtue.
Mush will simply retire to some nice palace in the middle east and enjoy life.
He will look back and laugh at the fact that he was able to fool everyone from Vajpayee to Bush at the same time.
I think he played a very fine innings. Meanwhile a new face in Pak and a new admin in the US will start fooling everyone once again and we will be back to where it all started.
Whatever told about Musharraf, he is a clean man and corrupt free whereas the other two Nawaz and Zardari are corrupt to the core. I pity Pakistan people.

How can you can Musharref "Clean". Ask yourself why he refused to protect Benazir Bhutto when she returned to Pakistan. He denied the use of cell phone jammers to protect agains radio wave transmitted bombs. Mysteriously, the roads were dark going into the Capitol from the airport. Musharref did not want Bhutto running in a free election. He may or may not have had direct involvement in her assasination, but he did nothing to protect her. This is not the act of a leader in a free democracy. To deny he is corrupt is to live life with blinders.

Sheela Bhatt probably thinks she is bigger than India. I don't know if you remember this. Until Modi was reelected she spitted venom at him again and agian. May be she thought she could alter the history. Now she wants to take care of Pakis. It is sad, rediff.
What does she mean by saying "The LoC can't be the solution". The pakis should realize that LOC is the only solution. All other solutions are useless. Till the pakis tone down their rhetoric and talk sensibly, there cant be any "solution" to the specially created "Kashmir issue".

When punjab can divided into two, Bengal can divided ito two, than why not kashmir can be divided into two, you are true LOC is the only solution, just make it International border and both countries have to think and must live happily everafter. Just put one thing that this is the process of division wwhich started in 1947 and ended in 2008.

Kashmir is already divided with part of it under Pakistani control. Those want to migrate to that part of Kashmir from India should be given a one-way ticket to that paradise called Azad Kashmir ( lol )

He goes on to say -- 'They are our people, we can't go on killing them' And he still wants us to believe that Pakistan is 'opposing' terrorists!
He did give fair elections in Pakistan so thats good point. And anyway his opposition is much known for corruption and India hatred, so we cant expect any better from them.
