Though we say we are a democratic country but we are more of a pseudo democratic or I can say still following the same regionalism politics. Just for the heck of we having our govt. selected by the ppl, for the ppl and to to ppl. If you really see, it is rather policicans are for themselves, for their own cause and to spoil the nation. Root cause of this is some thing which is basically happened due to Nehru during his tenure as PM. He only created states on the basis of the language which is not a big issue everywhere. Britisher were supporting divide and rule policy on religious basis but due to Nehru now we are facing the regionalism. If we would have not had all these states created on the basis of languages then I don't think anyone ever had the feeling of being betrayed. More over each each and every state imposes its law on student to learn the local language. In fact one should have liberty to learn a language of their own choice. Unless we come out of the hate mentality towards every other citizen, we can't dream of having a better future for India. Jai Hind.

do you really believe what you said - if you really believe Raj is "the messiah", go and dedicate your entire family's life to the serving of thakrey's family and show this world. you can take the job of a driver/gardener/cook/cleaner and maybe save some more posts being given to UP/Bihar guys.

In the same vein if you truly believe that any person in India can relocate anywhere and in some cases squat illegally by creating a slum in another state - invite them to live in your house.
There is no need to impose Hindi on non Hindi speakers as the national language.
Why do we need a national language in a democratic multi linguistic country?
If we need a national language then make English as the national language.
All languages like Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu are being sidelined and Hindi is being promoted. Soon our children will forget their mother tongues and will know only English and Hindi.
All non Hindi speakers should take a stand against Hindi and save their languages from extinction.
Bhayyas have made Hindi the national language after breeding like rabbits.
At this rate Mahrashtra will be without Marathi, Punjab will be without Punjabi, Bengal will be with out Bengali...
We need to take a stand now before it is too late.

Terminator, the lesser said about your views, the better. I would even accept your contention of not having a national language - but making english instead of hindi, FOR THE REASONS YOU QUOTED is ridiculous - so you are saying that you can accept a language from another country, but not our state.
second: Who forces you to speak in hindi in Maharashtra - you sound like suffering from conspiracy phobia. Hindi speaking people also complain about the same about english actually. Also, who has EVER objected to the regional languages being promoted? Thakereys have ruled the state for so long practically, so i think being good Maharashtrians, they must have promoted Marathis, and so holds for West Bengal. What are you complaining about exactly? OH< and biggest of them- STOP watching hindi movies altogether. That is how you can boycott hindi.
third: if you are so against nationalistic symbols, go ahead and demand to have a regional flag instead of the national flag. why stop at that, demand that Maharashtra be treated as a separate country.
Those who don't like Bhayyas toilet free easy movement near railway track with 'lotta' must be suffering from acute constipation. Hence they are jelous.
I don't understand why any body should talk against Biharies! They are not mare patriot but beleive in internationalism too. That's why the consider the entire world as their own Bihar. And Maharastra is simply a part of this world ! It is high time we must allow Bihari people to continue their dance any where they like.....
Please brush up your history. India came from 'Hind', which the Europeans couldnt pronounce. 'Hind' in turn came from 'Sindhu', as in the river, which the Greeks couldnt pronounce. India has as such never been a separate entity not just for Britishers, but for any outsider, Persians, Greeks, Central Asians like Babur (Mughal founder) etc. For eg. 1. Alexander didnt win just the land of Punjab, he said I won against India. 2. Vasco -da-gama never came to 'Kerala'. He went to the coast of India. 3. When Britishers came and first camped in Calcutta, it wasnt 'Bengal' that they landed in. They called it India & named their country the East India Company.
However, it is true that the local cultures of various states are coming under pressure from Bihar & UP because of their poor moving into other states because of bad governance in their own states. With them overflowing into prosperous states, overflow the drainage systems, toilets, defecating in the open. They also bring with them the ethics that they learnt there, which arent much, spitting, loud behavior, an accent which sounds rude (even though what they are saying may not be rude).
Hence the backlash in Assam, Maharashtra & there is resentment in Punjab because of it. Delhi's governor & CM dont like them either & have said so. It is true then that the present generation needs a new consitution.

Raj, Nobody contests local cultures/people being promoted whether it is in India or abroad. Tomorrow if US reduces H1B visas by 20% or Maharashtra declares local reservation in all govt jobs, the reaction wouldnt be this sharp. But, and THIS IS THE EXACT problem, instead of actually promoting Maharashtra or its people, Raj Thakrey has chosen the vicious path of attacking outsiders, simply based on their origin of state. and that is not correct, do Marathis never leave the state for jobs/education outside (other state/counties)? Should they be forced out from there (or attacked in US just coz they come from Maharashtra) - how would that feel?
If Raj thakrey thinks it is time to change the constitution, he should demand THAT, and then react whatever the outcome of that is. the way he acts is like he believes himself to be the constitution. like Jaya Bhacchan has said, if he is so concerned, why doesnt he open schools there on his own land?
1. 52% of all temple staff including pujaris should be from OBC communities. 2. 29% temple staff including pujaris should be from Dalits and Tribals. 3. Remaining all temple staff including pujaris should be from other castes.
Also render PUJAS in regional or local language instead of sanskrit.
