At the end of the day if the Irish Republican Army is not Catholic terrorism why should Al Qaeda be seen as Islamic terrorism?
This single statement shows how biased is Ms. Shirin Mazari is.
It is very clear to every one in the world why Al-Qaeda is seen as Islamic terrorism.
LTTE is fighting for their homeland in northern Srilanka and all their terror attacks are confined to attacking economic, military and unfortunately some civilian targets only in Srilanka. They did perpetrate some of these acts in India, when vested political interests in India closed their eyes. But they never ever claimed that they defend Tamils / Hindus / Christians against any atrocities committed in any part of the world.
IRA was fighting for their rights in Northern Ireland against UK. All their acts of terrorism were confined to Northern Ireland. They never claimed that they will defend Catholics all over the world.
Now come to Al-Qaeda - claims to defend Muslim Ummah against attacks by infidels - meaning those who do not believe that there is only god Allah. It is responsible for attacks on US & European interests in almost all continents, attacks in India at the behest of ISI, Philippines, Indonesia and has planned attacks in Singapore & Australia in SEA.
Why shouldn't they be branded as Muslim terrorists, when they call for attacks against the rest of the world, which doesn't believe in their agenda???

Tamils in Sri Lanka do not fight in the name of Rama or Krishna or Hinduism.
IRA does not fight in the name of Jesus Christ or Christianity.
But, these people fight in the name of Allah and Islam. They think they are doing a sacred religious duty called Jihad. So, that is why it is called Islamic terrorism.

india will become bigger pakistan. every day suicide bombing, more people than the combined populaton earnig less than a dollar a day, more bimaru states, frequent break down of transport,educatinal institutions, no proper foreign, development policy. it will be hell. it will be rain all the way with people like lallu yadav & co.
