Raj and the likes are just creating differences among our brethren just for attaining fame. Mark my words, India will never develop into a super power if we have politicians like these. we dont have a noble politicain who is people friendly and who cares for the people.today we are voicing our comments but these are falling in deaf ears. Tomorrow its our sons/daughters who are going to suffer. Citing all these, I honestly feel that we are better placed under British. Afterall they brought railways, modernized electricity and improved the infrastructure. It is really sad to see that the present day politicians care a foot about those who eleceted them. At the end of the day, we just raise our voice, without any result, we go home, eat, watch the TV soaps, play with our kids and get ready for tomorrow. God save us
The hatred is no way against the Hindi speaking people. Then, what%u2019s wrong? The wrong is Hindi speaking people never accepted the Marathi language and its culture. They (Hindi) say that Maharashtra is a very racist state. They why UP has broken in two (UP & Uttaranchal) and also Bihar (Bihar & Jharkhand) though the same language was being spoken and same culture was followed? It was because these developed parts of the states (now Uttaranchal & Jharkhand) were not able to bear the burden of the non developed part of the states. I guess the same is now happening with Maharashtra. However, one should not mean a fight between Bihar & Jharkhand or UP & Uttaranchal or UP & Maharashtra would lead to division of the nation. One who takes this as a meaning, means he is a very narrow minded person. There are fights in a family. Does it mean division of that family? Certainly Not!!

I don't agree with you as far as Mumbai is concerned. You may be right in saying about UP and Bihar getting devided in to two states. But as far as Mumbai's growth is concerned, there is very very little that the locals/maharashtrains/marathoo manoos contributed. 99% contribution of Mumbai's growth is from imigrants and more than 50% of unskilled labour from UP and Bihar. they are also responsible for Mumbai growth...let us not forget the truth. this is only a vote bank politics, which is not going to help anybody.

You are talking about indians or hindus. When you talk about Indians don't stretch on any particular community or religion. You too are doing the same. Why not its the same coin with TWO FACES.
T.V. Sir, Good writing for promoting brotherhood among all indians. But sorry to state thatyou have taken the present crisis on wrong track. This is not happening in maharashtra only but in many other states also. once we have accepted the system of states on languages basis, that language should be given due respect and priority. instead of understanding the issue correctly, many started crying that marathis want to divide contry. simply pity on them. i request you all think cooly the main unrest in the minds of marathis and why . whatever happened was reaction and dirty game of politics. are all non-marathis staying in legal status ? all want rights only then what about duties ? after jammu & kashmir now in haryana also only harayana people can buy property in haryana. but haryanaman can property in maharashtra. This is justice to maharashtra ?
India is a great country. We all Indians truly love the unity in diversity of the country. Each and every member of the country should be allowed to move freely anywhere in the country including J & K. The states were created on the basis of Languages. Maharashtra is one of the most cosmopolitan state in India. The %u201CMaha%u201D in %u201CMaharshtra%u201D stands for good social leaders / teachers / preachers like Chhatrapati Shivaji, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Maharshi Karve, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Yashwantrao Chawan, etc. to a name few. Maharashtra is created and developed under the able guidance and leadership of all these people. Any Marathi person is very proud to have such prominent leaders. Marathi people are taught to respect other language, culture and religion. Hence, this region has accepted Hindi & its culture long time back. If Marathi people were against Hindi language and its culture, they would have not accepted the language and culture at the very first moment itself. don't know abt Bihar but regarding UP and Uttaranhal I can tell you these two states are totally different be it socialy, culturally or economically..infact to tell you current state of UP is also very heterogeneous...western UP and eastern UP are totally different...western UP is a very rich area where farmers enjoy high sandards of life due to advances in agriculture, industry in Gaziabad, Noida etc...infact western UP farmers along with Punjab and Haryana farmers are the only ones in entire India who are living good standards of life unlike other areas where suicides among farmers is now a common occurrence...problem of migration is a big problem....breaking of UP in aleast 2 parts can be a solution as eastern UP really needs special attention from both central and state govt...just see SP govt installed SEZ,power plant etc in western UP rather than easern UP...its totally unjustified as its eastern UP which needs more investment while western UP is already highly developed...if UP is bifurvated then it will benefit both parts...western UP will be among top states without doubt while eastern UP will be able to receive more attention from state govt....
Gr8, our politicians only has created these gaps in our society... JUST FOR VOTES to serve his family NOT COUNTRY,taking advantage of poor and migrating people (states to state and from other countries as wel)
Finally, things depend on us and educate people that FIRST WE ARE HINDUSTANI / INDIAN than hindu, muslim ...

Well said ashok we are indian first.But congi used bhindrawale against Akalidal and now in Maharastra used Raj against Shivsena.Dirty politics is going on.
The only city in India having a licensed prostitution is Mumbai...what a shame...If Raj has ball go and stop it....Of course what he said against AB is right...AB is fooling people...But he should not have act against north Indians...this is my point...

Is it because all the troublemakers from UP and Bihar have now moved mumbai, delhi, bangalore etc ???
I am not really a follower of RSS and generally do not agree with there policy of excessive stress on hinduism..but still i must appriciate what Mr.vijay has said here...India today is going towards Anarchy and the credit should go to our great politicians.its high time that people should stand up against these petty minded politicians and it can hapen only if all of us..the educted midleclass goes out an executes it right of frencise..not only the discussions across internet, tv,and newspaper are the only source of raising our voice..our real power is the right to vote and its only by voting that we can teach these petty minded politicians some lessons. other wise all these discussion doesn't mattere because deafs don't listen.
