The most cursed denizen on this planet is the Indian and even more accursed is the one without a caste or provincial identity to belong to! What a goddamned country this has turned out to be! Shit!

@Murli
I just want to reply only for ur first sentance of ur post.
Yes we are responsible for failed governance of any state & our nation India.
We should elect proper candidates and proper govt. I know none of them deserve those positions 100% but still u can choose some one better among them who really work something for their constituency
Mumbai is sinking like titanic. By 2050 it will be in arabian sea. No this is not astrologers prediction. MEterologists / scientiss say so. Besides, global warming is accelerating it. Sea will eat up this city. Run one run all.
Sir, Recently a friend of mine went to Mizoram on business. He told me that he had to take special permission from some Government department for the travel which was given only for a few days. I wonder if anyone knows the reason behind this. Is it a security issue, or are other Indians not allowed to go to the north eastern states in the normal course?

Yes because, the population of Mizoram or for that matter NE states are too small (except Assam - where you don't need special permission). The demography will changed in 2 days if not controlled (see population trend in Tripura where the local people where outnumbered by bangladeshi hindu migrants due to partition and the tension thereafter)

If this is true, people of those special states of the northeast should not also be allowed free entry to other indian states like tamilnadu on jobs. It appears that, in return for frienship with mrs. Mountbatten, the duke made Nehru agree that the christian states within india were given special protection from entry of others. Similar protection for J&K, only pandits could be driven out from there by the moslems. Perhaps, God has repaid mountbatten for this by his death in boat-burst, as also nehru and his dynasty the kind of deplorable deaths in sucession. As you sow, so you reap, for all, irrespective of religion or nationality. Nehru was probably more brittish than indian, at heart.

Do you know population of Mizoram at the first place? It is only 8 lacs. What will happen if people of all parts pour into it. Just think. And who told you there are no non-mizo people working in mizoram? Do you want mizo culture to be extinct. This not in the spirit of India

Sir, My intention was not to create any tension. I was just curious as I always thought that only Kashmir had a special status. But tell me, how does culture get affected if people travel to the north east on business or as tourists? The europeans travel freely among themselves even without a passport or visa. Though I do not agree with you at all about local culture being sacrosanct, I respect your right to have your own opinion. P

It's never going to happen the way you have pointed out becuase surely not all people would be interested in settling in Mizoram and devouring its culture. That way the culture of every state in India must be in danger, irrespective of population.I fail to connect to your spirit of India argument. understand wha
Raj Mumbai is going on Tamil Nadu way... Maharastra should learn from Tamil Nadu past.
Now Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh become top IT exporting states of South India.
M Karunanidhi CM of Tamil Nadu, India Started his career with Anti-Hindi agitations and built on many years anti-North Indian agitations picketing shops run by North Indian merchants and tarring over Hindi names on public billboards.
Now because of Karunanidhi policies Tamil Nadu which was one the leading state in south India few decades back is now far behind with other south Indian states.
Raj Thakre is a narrow minded person. This is a time of Globalization whole Maharastra will suffer because of Raj. Raj has no objection in sending Marastrians to overseas countries but have objection if other states people work in Maharastra. More then 30 millions INDIANS NRI's out of which 5 millions are Maharashtras Indians(NRI's) working in overseas countries.

Raj is a baccha compared to the Dark glassed guy. This guy will use language ,caste, birth or anything to garner a couple of votes. he will even lick someone's posterior if it is going to help him stay in power & swindle. Hope the people of TN have become wise now & wont vote him to power next time.

YOu RAe absolutely wrong. I agree that MK & party was against Hindi language long back. Now You ask any North Indian (Chennai has 20%) and all other areas has 10% north Indians. tamil nadu everyone live peacefully and law & order in Tamil Nadu is Much Much better than any other Indian states. Tamil Nadu peple are more accomadative otherwise MGR ( A Born malayalee) & Jayalalitha (born kannadiga) would not have been CM's. So just know things better before you pen down my friend.

I absolutely agree with Jayaraman. I am a north Indian I lived in Tamil Nadu for more than five year to be very specific in Thanjavur which is known as outocratic Tamilian Regions. Though they dont know hindi but they never lag behind in helping people from other state which ever region they belongs to. they have some basic rules Follow them and enjoy ur life there. But whats happening in Mumbai is totally unacceptable. Dont compare Tamil Nadu with maharastra.

Chennai has 20% migrants from north? I am pleasantly surprised. That Chennai is peaceful is in no doubt. I apreciate the info.

may be one of the reason for the migrants from north is due to the construction/infrastructure happening in Chennai...for the past coupleof years, there have been many overbridges, real estate developments in chennai and the fact is that Biharis are hard workers particularly the unskilled labour segment... this is visible in Mumbai too..wherever road work, bridge work, construction activities, the majority of the workers are from Bihar/UP. the locals don't tend to take up such labour assignments.

Hare Babu, You are totally wrong. Tamil Nadu 2nd industrialised state after Maharastra. This is year alone 20,000 crore invstment in auto, leather, textile, electronics,IT,etc. Also human index is among top 3 states. Average income also increased compare to other states. Your statment is not true as far behind with other state. Do not waste the space with irrelevant and wrong messages.
The media has done a huge hue & cry against the Marathi people in totality? Who had given the media these rights? They have spread all the false informations accross the country. When stone pelting was not done at AB's home (AB himself confirmed this), how did media say that this ACT was done? They just took up this issue (which would otherwise had been curtailed to small extent) as a means of their BONUS! They are the one who made Raj & Abu Azmi Heroes. This media are more dangerous than the Politicians themselves.
I was quite amazed to see the response of leaders like Amar Singh and Abu Azmi and their rhetoric of "Everyone Indian has a right over Mumbai". I don't understand why everybody is so concerned about the plight of 2 lakh migrants when 20 crore people in UP & Bihar lie in abject poverty. These no-good UP&Bihari leaders have written off their states as "failed states" as if its somebody else's fault and problem and are now out to put their grubby fingers in the city built with decades of hard-work. The GREAT BIG BLACK STINKING problem is failed governance in UP&Bihar. The people there must fight for their rights, demand a better future for their children IN UP and not jump on the next train to Mumbai.

Agreed that failed governance is the case with UP Bihar but are people responsible for that? Is those beaten, vandalism and killing justified act? How you would feel when you would loose your source of income and your family comes on road or your mother had to give you birth in moving train toilet just becuase you worked for bread and butter outside your state and you were much better qualified than any local? How any civilized person can justify such open violation of civil rights and national integrity.
Failed States does not mean you ahve got licence to abuse the civil and constitutional rights of any citizen. You are none to tell fight for what and come here or not...you can't fight against your own government how you expect from others??? How you can talk about thsi all when India itself was called a failed country by britishers??? then you shld have opted for slaveery not a democratic united India! or shld have asked some marathis to free only Maharastra from britshers! Man there is no justification for your act..the only thing you have left to do is to apologise to India and accept your sin with remorse..toerhwsie you will be standing like most shameless alienated community of this country for whom national integration has no respect and civil rights exist only for you and rest are animals! This all incidence has brought only one thign ofr marathis: Shame...nothing else! And if you cant feel it..you think yourself what you are and for which culture youa re meant!

I do not know about Bihar but have lived in UP for past 25 years. What makes you say it is a failed state. UP has the second largest GDP after Maharashtra. Check up ur facts. The differences are relative. There are enough poor suicidal farmers in Maharashtra for u to take care. And yes 2 lac migrants from UP should not be used to abuse 20 crore people living in UP.

And yes, there are lacs of marathis in UP. In the company that I worled near lucknow there could be 40-50 marathis amongst about 800 empoyees. U must remeber that during Punjab separatism days many hindus were killed. That developed into a backlsh triggered aftr I. Gandhis death. Hope same is not repeated with marathis living in UP / Bihar

Bhadka rahe ho kya ? Tareeka hai to achcha lekin thoda purana ho gaya hai, nahin ?
Nice article....Its time we all think about the jolly ride that these politicians are taking us for.Its for their advantage that they want us to fight for identities based on religion, caste, region, language amongst others. The more we forget that we are primarily Indians the better it is for them. We as citizens of India need to introspect before towing the line of any politician or party. We just have to ask ourselves if this will lead to any good to our country and our future generations. If not then time to Kick these people out.
