The problem with Tarun Vijay is that he writes well, but almost always evades real issues.
Ignore MNS tactics and get to the underlying issues. In some form or the other, this issue is present in every state in India. Why, you will find it even in Europe and.. well, everywhere. The RSS will be doing itself a great disservice if it doesn't analyze this sincerely.
1. Learn the language of the state. 2. Make regional language compulsory in schools 3. Ensure jobs to the locals.. reserve them, if needed. 4. Ensure housing to the locals.. reserve them, if needed.
First thing we have to keep in mind that we do not live in india, but in a golabal village. Our jobs/business can not be not affected if something happen in America. So we indian, earlier we get up from the sleep, the better. We should wake up to the reality of modern world. New coming gneration is not going to feel proud of being marathi. And also wont tolerate if you abuse him for being a Bihari. They will look at the merit, what is our contribution in making a better society. Have we build good road, traffic, world class hospitals, schools, park. Thats going to be parameter to be judged, thats something which reflects our true strength as civilised human being. This marathi-bihari conversation which is going on in our head will take us down. Yes if bihari mis-behave only admistration should punish them not politician like Raj, who should creat violance, hatred in our mind just to unite his marathi vote. Jai hind.

Isn't it surprising. But it's true. When Raj's lawyers was being interviewed. It was One Mr. Choubey, fluently speaking Hindi was replying to media. Was he not Upites. Why did Mr. Raj employed him for his bell. Where his Marathi Manus love had gone. Truth is Maharashtra cannot do without Upites/Bihari. Right from A taxiwala/Rikshawala IAS/IPS officers like Mr. MN Singh, AN Rai, Karun Shrivastava, DCP Amitabh Gupta belong to U_P/Bihar. More than 60% of Bollywood is north Indian. Remember Mr. Raj is hardcore politician he wanted to come to limelight at any cost even if it results in killing of innocent people like the two people who died - One Marathi and One Bihari. We Indian are still not waking up and we become puppets in the hands of politicians and we start fighting on their words without understanding their real motive

I totally agree....all South Indians are referred as a Madrasi (How Ignorant) or should I say stupidity...I guess all North Indians should be referred to as Biharis (No Disrespect to the ppl of Bihar)

Ok, Lets request for a license to kill for every one of those billion people cramming up that 500 Sq miles of land, until the population falls to a level low enough to instill the lost glory of Mumbai.
That way we wont have to worry about Al Qaeda, Osama, Terrorist problems and Pakistan's nuclear bomb, we would have saved all of them a lot of trouble and still have back our "Lost Glory"

Hi Tarun, Very nice artical. to get rid of this idology is to have good law-officer like Narendra Modi, i m not insisting coz i m gujju but i think he has the capability same as sardar vallabhbhai patel to join all the states and states people. to streamline the whole law process is the only and best option for india and we require good law-officer who can maitain it.

Thanks to your Gujju attitude, should i say and enrage a battle? Why do you think people like Raj Thackeray even get the idea that they will gather support from masses. It is because of people like you who breathe air into such fires. You probably gained a bit of sadistic pleasure by doing that, but you surely insulted your country, your culture, your independence day and the right to be an indian.
Just because a few mavericks want all non-maharashtrians out of Mumbai, generalising that attitude as an all Marathi attitude is so sick in itself. This shows how narrow, ill-informed and illiterat you are in your thinking. The US education did no good to you i guess.
I am in the US too. I am a Marathi, a proud one though, who wants to be identified as an indian first. If i ever come across people beating up Gujjus, i will make sure.... I WILL SAVE HIM. as a tribute to you, if not for humanity or since he is my countryman.
