correct ur words.bal thakera is not thakera.it is thakare.u can show some respect as he is very elder to you in age he is 82 now.say balasaheb. Why you are seeing Raj in Maharashtra.Go and see asammesse in assam.jaylalita/karunanidhi in tamilnadu.go and debate on this to sheela dixit and their governor.go and fight with KANADINGAS in karnataka.u are biased with MARATHI and MAHARASHTRA.u can see this issue in all over world even in developed contries like FRANCE and EUROPE (MIGRANTS of RUSSIA),USA (MIGRANTS of MEXICAN) RAJ is correct with his views.only implementation is wrong.he can have push his thoughts of son of soils first and then others in right manner in non-voilence.every marathi is feeling he is becoming in-secure with this vast migrations not only with UP/Bihar but also with other states.they can come stay but that can't be the cause to surrender son of soils with his opportunities. don't attack on RAJ.don't dishonour to MARATHI feelings.it is universal issue of migrants.see in that manner.
Get this "hint" . in today's marathi eveninger Sandhyakal quoted proudly what this Raj thakre has to say "Maharashtraat "Rashtra" aahe". this clearly means th8 he wants to seperate Maharashtra from India . (and he is working on a long term goal of seperating maharashtra , along khalistan lines). dont let this devil succeed in his intention. soon u will get to hear th8 he has armed his followers and DEMANDS a seperate state of maharashtra!!! he has already done the job of inciting Marathi manoos feeling among Marathis, BEWARE...
he is being helped by saudi-arabia-pakistan funded jihad party : congress who wants to break the hindu vote bank to win next elections.
we hv 2009 lok sabha election and congress-ncp is sure to loose,so they r doing this by helping raj the terrorist.
also, pls note congress actually created bal thakrey to break the commies and now created raj to break bal.
best part is their every move always boomerangs.
congress has never ever worked on development and national issues they always do seperatist and minority appeasment.
fyi bhindrewala the terrorist head of khalistan movement was promoted by indira-congress in punjab to destroy akali dal which was winning all elections.
so congress has long history of destroying india.
kashmir,assam,north-east,etc every wehre failure is due to congress interference.
Being Indian does not fetch votes. Votes banks are created in the name of language, caste, religion and spreading hatred agianst most vulnerable. DMK's anti hindi, anti north campaign, Mayavati,s ' Kalam, Taraju and Talwar inko maro joote chaar ', congress's organised slaughter of sikhs after Indira Gadhi's assasination, fall in this category. Raj Thackeray is following in the footsteps. These are the quick result yielding short cuts.
I support your anguish and anger at such reactions from Marathi people which includes me.
However, I request you not to hate us or react in the same manner. we all are educated and love our nation. Decide whether you want divisive politics to succeed??? if yes...go on rampage...if no...ignore such elements and remain united...
The correct answer to tackle this problem is to start economic centres at various locations in India so that no one particular place gets crowded. Such centres should be even opende in remote places such as Bihar, Assam, Orissa, North-east and not only in Metros which have exhausted their capacities.
When the other parts of the country will prosper??
I also join you in condemning any sort of violence against anybody.

i request all non marathi friends not to give much importance to such minor incidences ,such incidences are more focused, streched by electronic media more than its worth to serve their own interest
but it is also true that we need to creat more industrially developed belts in u.p.bihar like poor, backward places to avoid such civil war like situation in future.
more importantly, political leaders like loloo, aabu azami should be held responsible for the backwardness of their own states and hoolinganism in the developed state like maharashtra.
It really amused me to hear this from Mr. Tarun Vijay.RSS works on same philosophy of dividing people not on regional basis but on religional.Mr. Tarun should first look at himself and his organisation before criticizing Mr. Raj Thakare though i don't support Raj or his ideology. It is RSS who started division of people in the country before anyone would have thought.

sorry guy, but the truth is ,it is the RSS which is really trying to unite india on the basis of indianism. even if you are muslim,if you consider india as your mother nation and if you put forward nation to your religion, you would be revered by RSS. Understood? first try to keep away your muslim identity and be indian. todays muslim orthodox people who follow moulavi ,shariya and not the law of india are the real problems for the india.

Dear Friend, why are you not able to digest a fact from a Muslim. whenever a muslim speaks you go to Moulavi and Islam. We are the one who are best follower of any law its either Islam or Indian law at the same time we are the one who oppose any anti social elements whether its a Muslim by name, RSS or even America.
The way things are going on, our constitution will soon be re-written by these fanatics and if we have to work and live in another state, they have to first get a visa before they travel to another state for better livelihood.
It is the fact that even though we all call ourselves as Indians, when it comes to the existence whether that be in the job or residence, the locals do not accept another state's person.
I can understand this anarchy when you migrate to another country but why this trend in India?
It all stated with that old fox Thackarey when he unravelled his tirade against South Indians. These opportunists should be shot dead to have a clean and fair India.

What stupid views are you spreading around. There were a lot of idiots, who were goaded by the media, that distorted the real meaning of the statements made by Raj Thackeray. Secondly if you are from South India, tell me how do you view a Kannada Vedike blackening Hindi and English boards, how do you view Andhra Pradesh for Telgus only argument, how do you view DK, DMK, AiADMK policy of Tamil only, how do you view all these things. Again if you belong to North India, why should you not ask your two bit politicians, who have destroyed thier own states, the reason for coming here to seek political mileage. So you have a lot to answer for in either case. And stop using the cheap and stupid language you have used in your post the last line. it does not do your post any credit.

The Indian constitution has been amended many times. The rights are subject to being curbed, even the right to life and liberty. During the emergency (1994-1997) the attorney general had averred before the supreme court in effect that the people had not right to life during an emergency and the court accepted it. What it means is rights are not sacrosanct. If UPians and Biharis have the right to flood Mumbai and also have the right to keep their cultural identity, why are Maharashtrians being denigrated if they say that this deluge is drowning out our identity and taking away our livelyhood. Our constitution does not grant us full right to expression and right to equality is on paper, even after sixty years we cannot have a common civil code and the ulema are lauded if they say the use of condom is acceptable in their religion. That's for the anomalies in our behaviour and interpretation of the constitution, then how can the PM and the Home Minister tell the downtrodden, needlessly maligned Maharashtrians that their state is to be home of anyone who walks in? to imply that Maharashtrians have the same rights is 'no go', why should we leave our home state in our millions, go a thousand miles away to do petty jobs? These leaders like Lalu, Maya and mulayam should bring some constitutional order to their own home states and the PM and the HM should guide them rather than making threatening noises to Maharashtrians.
More serious is the Chinese threat than any of these silly protests . Let us all get together aginst the chinese designs. We do not have proper infrastructure to counter them. Why dont we protect ourselves first before we fight amoungst ourselves.
The State is supposed to protect its citizens and ensure implementation of law and order. The two recent examples where the state became the abetter to the crime are Nandigram in West Bengal and the recent happenings in Maharashtra. Are we not heading towards anarchy? How do we rectify this systems failure? The week colition Government in the centre will be a mere spectator to such incidents. India is passing through the worst state of internal security.
RE:Indian in India
by Suresh Bhave on Feb 16, 2008 02:19 PM Permalink
What happened in Maharashtra was most regrettable. These were and not to be compared to the violence in Nandigram. This is not a systems failure, it is points at intellectual bankruptcy of the politicians. I am remindedd of the time of the maharashtrian's movement for a united Maharashtra based on the accepted principle of linguistic states. The central government was against the idea of a state for Marathi people, the local congress government was as usual full of sycophants of the central leaders and they shot dead 105 demonstrators over a few days in Mumbai. The Hutatma chowk in Mumbai is named for those martyrs. Today Shivraj Patil reminds one of the then Marathi leaders who felt they owed their power to the central leaders and not to their voters at home. The PM reminds one of the then PM, only that he is not using the same tough language. If the linguistic states have been accepted to preserve the distinct identity of the people of the state, then it is deplorable, firstly that others should flock to one state and change its demography so that it is unrecognizable. That is going to happen in M,rashtra in ten years if the influx goes on unabated and we will be voting for singhs and yadavs to our legislature. Is that what the rest of the Indians want? That's what worries M'Rashtrians. PM says we need intelligent solutions, by the time that happens Maharashtra would be remaining only paper, or not even that.

How many times are you going to ask the same question? Are you saying that M'Rashtrians should study only in Marathi schools? what is the logic? it seems that your intellectual resources are extremely limited. Why should he drive a bullock cart? All these are matters of personal choice. But, stop being a bore and come up with something else, even if equally moronic, it will at least be a change.

i think raj does not oppose north indians who accept marathi language, marathi culture who earn their salt and roti in mumbai.
its so simple, if you are in chennai, you are bound to learn tamil,
in kochi, kalikut you would be illeterate if you dont know malyalam,
in vishakhapattanam ,you would be dumb and def if you do not know telagu,
but marathi people even rural maharastra people never oppose or hostile to hindi and never force outsiders to speak marathi,
the north indian have been taking misadvantage of this kind gesture of marathi people and due to this todays situation has arrived.
simple answer to such situations is to respect local language and culture.
The answer is simple, these rules laid down by Raj is not applicable for him or his family but for others.
His cunning fox uncle started against South Indian, then against Muslims. Raj wanted to be different. So he chose North Indians as his bait to smack his political vendetta.
we north Indians sacrifice our lives for our Nation and fought with britishers with our money and soul. these are the north Indians who bring the freedom to the nations and sacrificed their sons. can Raj thakre tell any name from his ancesstory who gave their life in freedom fighting. coward people can speak only.

Only north india is free? Are the rest of the states still under imperial rule? We should respect freedom fighters everywhere. But your point is well taken.

animesh jokers like you with their false understanding of history, and lack of manners and etiquettes bring ruin on simple people who migrate to other states to earn their living. Do not appoint your self as a spokesperson for all the UPites, and Biharis, and more importantly learn to keep your trap shut.

sorry boss but i think you should study history well and then write such comments. just for your knowledge, most of the political,social,educational,industrial,co-operative movements started from the soil of maharashtra , were supported by like minded people from all over the nation. for ex.- lokamanya tilak, political guru of mahatma gandhi - mr gokhale, RSS mentor - dr.hegdevar, dalit leader -dr.ambedkar, female educationist - mahatma phule,d.k.karve, first female doctor -dr.a.joshi,first co-operative sugar factory -nagar,and so onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. forget divisive politics, be indian !
