While I am trying to judge different religions withing being influenced by my own religion, I would say, every religion has some negative ideas/thoughts. But the negatives of Islam has caused the most to the world in the recent times. Therefore my sincere request to the muslim community is not to stick to some thousand-year old beliefs (eg Jihad, Hauri etc.) which do not allow multi-cultural society to live in peace.
Instead of Jihad, why do not you guys try to do something for the development of Africa, where the poorest nations have Muslim population?
In Africa, where 50% people are muslims, people are killing each other like animals, raping each other's mother/sister like beasts. Why the muslim community do not do anything about it?
Is it bacause the Koran does not tell them to do anything for developing/teaching these people?
World will be better if you guys of the muslim community try to improve the conditions of your fellow muslims in Africa rather than going for bombing innocent people.

if you see history, the islamic world not on the picture during the cold war (usa vs ussr) after the collapse ussr the momentum shifted towrds middle east. current state of affairs are instigated, a direct outcome of super power politics. most of the major wars and killings have been west instigated. the media play a big role in projectin the good guy and bad guy - the media is controlled by west. freedom of speech and human rights are a sham

dude, i am not here to defend islam nor muslim, and i aint a muslim. i do study religions in my spare time. so no question of fine langauge. but you could always see events and relate the cause and effects. do you think the current state will chnage? no, unless the humans as a whole change. religions have existed for long, long before the athiesim / capitalism of today. there have been conflicts earlier but not of the nature of whhat find at present. it is not the weapons that have chnage it is lack of humaness that is demeaning.

Nothing can be better than Islam, cause its truth and being came from only Almighty God. You say your womens are empowered, where stress level is 90%, husband-wife no believe, multiple husbands/wifes...childrens dont obey the parents, high child sex and child pregnancy, murder, shoot outs even from an elementary level, no security for life....this is if better for you. than its your choice.

You are right if it is about Islam.
Murders (duty), child sex & pregnancy (with ayesha & muhammed as the paragons), shoot outs (from birth), no security for others or their life, children obey mullahs, wife doesnt exist only sex slaves do, stress level 100% (how to kill infidels and how to blow myself up)
Home is the first school and parents are the first teachers. We need more Muslim parents to have thoughts like Shoukat Khan and Rehma. They need to keep an eye on their kids. Please dont send ur kids to Madrassas that teach killings. Send them to schools that teach. English, maths, science and human values, so that Muslims can lead a good life like others. An educated Muslim can make the world safer..

Uttamkumar, did it occur to you that the govt school would not be good? It is the same reason many people prefer to send children to RK mission that municipal schools. I am not comparing the teaching standards of the madrasa to RK mission but am generally stating that maybe that is the only place where they can get decent literacy in the neighbourhood. I am sure if they knew earlier that the madrasa was so horrific, they wouldnt send in the first place.
If somebody gives poison or kick free of cost, should they ready to receive ? Because it is established fact that Madrassas pour poison into the mind of little fresh and teen minds and make them pure terrorists. They should not send their kids/teens to madrassas.

If somebody tells you its free beer, but has posion in it, wouldn't you take it? Madrassas promise "better upbringing" - which is like beer, but they teach bad things - which is poison.

dude, why r you so bothered of something of whihc you are so sure is bad. why is that this man who lived 1429 years ago has become the object of your hatred. applying common sense shows that it a was not a flash in the pan, if it was a cult or falshood which he preached islam would not have survived so long, with more than one billion followers, a book which has remained the same, never distorted. I aint a muslim, but studying islam for past 4 years and it is amazing. One fact i have noticed is that sheer number of muslims who have memorized quran,by letter, they are in millions & millions!. going by this if now at this moment if all books were erased or lost, no other book will return except for quran. do not be blinded by hatred, learn about others, get to know others, and we will be able to make this world better.
As for your questions, as far my knowledge goes, islam is the only religion where divine law exists. As for marital relations go by, marraige to immediate blood relatives and breast fed relatoins is prohibited. Adoption remains an adoption, nothing more, the adopter just becomes a gaurdian and nothing more. The adoptee cannot inherit from adopter. One cannot q&a without considering the whole spectrum of the laws and procedures. Just browsing some websites and throwing questions does not make sense. dude relax, it is not that the religions are bad but lack of religion is the problem in all of us. Mathimeen, I agree I didn't read Qur'an. But do u mean the 100s and 1000s of ppl around us and you are the only smart person among all of them. We get knowledge by reading, by listening and by doing. What ever knowledge most of us have is by this mean only. But there are many ppl who have read the book and have posted their view, you cann't deny them. After all what is ur authenticity and credibility? Who are u? No one knows you then why should we vouch for u? At the end, the question remains still open. What ever we hear seems very true. If they are false, then it has to be proved by the fellow men who follow Islam. Let the religion be ur source of finding peace but dont let it play a spoil sports. It is very sad, that in a fight between a respective government and extremist organizations, it is always the innocent people who get maimed for life or even worse, die a brutal death.
What is the logic behind this ?
Extremist organizations always target unarmed innocent men, women and children, especially in the name of nationality and religion, to take revenge against the respective government, and very sadistically they justify their ruthless and cowardly actions by calling it "jihad" or "freedom struggle".
This is exactly the state of affair in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Sudan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Israel, Palestine and god only knows where else.
Even the respective government is responsible to a large extent because of the unfavorable policies that are at times adopted with certain hideous intentions.
The least that can be done by the respective government and extremist organizations, is to spare innocent people regardless of their religion and nationality because, they have nothing to do with all this meaningless violence and are just trying to lead normal lives with hopes and aspirations.
Today muhammed ali Jinna is proud man , look how peacefully muslims of pak follow their faith without hindus. hinduism is peace without hindus there is no peace in subcontinent just check out pak n bangladesh.

Wouldn't you like to have so many wives? Instead of abhorring him, why not genuinely admire him for maintaining so many wives!
Just look at Hugh Hefner who at this ripe old age has 7 girlfriends - all at the same time - and three live in girls. And America admires him for it that they have a show on TV with these girls.
