Well, this is not just for bangalore.It is for the whole country. We have a police that still behaves like the pre-independence police, policing thru fear.No real policing, no help for the common man.they are underpaid and overworked.Only influencial people can hope to get any justice in this system.

The report is right and the rate of crimes in Kerala is a worrying factor. But the rate is high because of filing petty political and personal crimes getting reported to the police. As per National Crimes Records bearau more than 95% of skirmishes get reported in Kerala. But the same cannot be said of other states.

Absolute wrong information given by Vicky Nanjappa! How come Madhya Pradesh & Andhra Pradesh are on top? Looks like he was giving incidents involving Naxals. In normal crime scenario Bihar, Delhi, Maharastra should have been on the top.

you idiot, kerala is top only bcoz every time a crime is committed it is reported correctly.. actually bihar,up,delhi,mumbai,bangalore top the lists where people won't report to police bcoz they r uneducated...

gowda is the biggest chor of the century. he has looted karnataka to the fullest. his family owns crores of rupees. what is the source of income? to top that he doesnt ve any moral ground also. he can backtrack any commitment by giving laughable excuses.
as far as i know delhi has the highest crime rate...i dont know from where the reporter braught Andhra in the crime topper list...i hope rediff jornalist learn real journalism and stop flimsy reporting
