HYDERABAD: Always eager to offer sops to minorities, the Andhra Pradesh government of chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Monday decided to dole out subsidies, on the lines of the Haj scheme, for Christians who want to visit holy sites in Israel.
Governor N D Tiwari in his address to the joint budget session of the Assembly and Council said, "My government has decided to extend the Haj pilgrim scheme to Christian minorities also for their religious visits to Christian Holy Lands in Israel."
The sop to Christian pilgrims by the chief minister, himself a Christian, is seen as another move by the Congress government to woo minorities ahead of the general and assembly elections scheduled for early next year.
"Unlike the Haj, which is a protected environment and which sees thousands of pilgrims from all over the world every year, holy sites in Israel including disputed Jerusalem, are located in a virtual war zone and it is unlikely that more than a few Christians from India and the state will want to visit," said an opposition leader. Christians comprise about 15.5% of AP's eight crore population.

There is really somthing called love in this world..and the most valuable gifts in this world come for free. Ofcourse, you need to be loved, first, to understand that theres a thing called love in this world. There are things like love of God, eternal life, citizenship into the kingdom of God , so on. Its a matter of choise, what you choose, at the end of the day. Look inside of yourself and not point to others to realise what wrecks we truely are and that will be the place to begin. Then you will realise you need forgiveness and the need to be loved by our father. No one can serve two masters. We have to choose between money and God. I think the whole life of ours will flash in front of our eyes before we die, and remind us of all the evil deeds we comitted, which is an overwhelming experience. Instead of waiting for that moment, we can correct ourselves rightaway by making right choises, before its too late. Anyways..may God bless you and may you find his truth and the truth set you free.

Let all christains leave all all the money they have immedialety for the sake of "love of God",as sugested by jesus in bible.Will you ?Tell us Alex did any priest and padaris felt bad for the evils they did?like colonism, slavery,cheating,pedophiliya ?NO But look they become saints and God rose them to heaven,why only beauce they believed in Him(jesus).When will you guys learn that beleive in God and not beliving is ones personal choice,one should never belive in God(some body saying he is God) just because he treatens you to hell if not obleiged,that is by defination called as threat not LOVE.Same as gundas ask for hafta for protection(protection from their warth),if not paid it is they themself he harm you.
Anyway why do you belive hindus will choose never ending after life,then choosing to be their family and ancestors(who by chistanity defination are in hell)in hell.Will they enjoy heaven seen their loved ones suffering in hell. Doesnt make sense.

During investigation of food-for-oil scam, as opposition party BJP always making noise in the parliment and urginf UPA govt. to expel Natwar singh from union cabinate. How come BJP could offer a parliment seat for him now? In indian politics anything is possible today you can call a member of a other party as fraud and tomarrow you make him friend and give him a position in your party, if he quits other party. There is nothing called any principle for any political party here, everything is opportunism.

My Friend Shankar, What about Mohammed Gandhi who created Pak to make India suffer permanently untill and unless Pak is dismantled. Use the word NoProgress when U refer Congress. Because of Mohammed Gandhi, Animal Nehru came into the center stage. Then this Animal devastated India, killed Shymaprosad Mukherjee for speaking out...finally thanks to the Chinese, because of their attack on India this Animal Nehru died. Otherwise nobody imagines what harm he could have done.
