Politics
by anil tanwani on Feb 13, 2008 06:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Country needs politicians with lot of value and who are dedicated to work for country men. Fame comes with work done for people and this is just a easy way to get fame. In long run such activities never reap good fruits. Good luck. Let us work for country and their people without any expectation of fame and power. It will happen with true leadership qualities.

very true. but unfortunately good ppl are not coming up in politics. i hope that programs like 'lead india' and organisations like 'youth for equality', 'lok paritrana' and other such organisations come up to take the leadership of this country.

Dear Aaryaji,Raj is doing what Hitler did spreading hate.At one place he says remove Article 370 at other he says maharastra for maharastrians only. This way it should be kashmir for kashmiri only.Instead of uniting the people he is diving them.
Taxiwalas, khomchawala, hawker, labourers etc, are the poorest and weakest of all. They are doing what nobody wants to do.By attacking the poor and weak Mr.Raj has only spoiled the name of our great leaders like Shivaji Maharaj. It is shame that a maharastrian is doing so.Bhelpuriwala and chatwalas are not snatching anybodies right. They are just surviving somehow. They work hard thru out the day on roads and they hardly use any infrastructure or government provided resource.these people are only exploited by the local goondas and police.
It is the big moneyed class which wastes the resource and is a burden on Mumbai's infrastructure. They have their 5Star hotels, petrol drinking cars, water wasting swimming pools. The builders create infrastructure problem by creating unauthorised structures and getting approvals through Bribe network.Politician are still thinking about yesterday, Babus give permission to dig same roads every year so that they and contractors can make money. These types of people are the real enemy of Mumbai and Maharastra.Farmers are dying, electricity shortage is increasing and so many similar problems are there.

Politicians are the real curse on this nation and humanity.they confuse and divide people and seve their ends.

Do we Need Dawood or Pakis
by ks wasu on Feb 13, 2008 06:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Here we all can see that without an ISI hand or underworld playing a religious card - how fargile our nationhood is.
People have forgotten what Sardar Patel did for uniting the nation.
Would request all states to see reason in this madness and take steps to check regional aspirations and align them with national aspirations.
Whats makes a UP wala a Bhaiyaa for Mumbai is perhaps the same when people from our country go to Africa - States - Europe for work.
Don we expect sympathy with their cause.
Why grant them dual nationality and celebrate Parvasi Diwas...
Are we not demanding contradictory things from all when it comes to ourselves being migrants abroad and migrants arriving in Metro's.

Sarika, Pune

Before saying anything rubbish, you should know what Raj wanna say.
First thing he dont want the dadagiri overhere (which is done by all bhaiyas specially)
secondly, If I forced you to use another language though it is ur national language or International, Why should u accept taht?
Why Marathi is pulled back here.
Why it is always that Hindi should enforced on Maharasrians. We love opur mother-tongue
Why don't u go & ask PM of India when he taled about Sikh wit France Minister when he arrives to India
Why don't u ask Mr. Karunanidhi when he talks about Tamilies those are living in Malyesia
I know you will say that its for India by an Indian
den I must ask u
Why A sikh was caring frop a sikh?
Why Tamili was so curious abt tamilians thise are not in India ;-)
Den why u r against Raj
I m not getting this silly point
See, If you want to be Indian den why their are different state depending on Language/Religion
& wt to say frther for a people who r aghainst an Indian, a true Indian
If u have dat much guts
just look at the govt who is ruling u. They are just a puppet doing show on demand of Italians ;-)
U should see der history wt dramas are they r dng ?
No commets on dat
If u really wnt to point out the things there are too many things gng in maharastra
If u have guts, put dem in front of Society. Instead of just pulling legs or calling a leader as dng rubbishness

Segregate the Nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by Rashmi on Feb 13, 2008 06:33 PM  Permalink

You will have people from maximum communities and states in all the %u201Ccapital%u201D cities... Be it kolkata, delhi, bangalore... Mumbai too happens to be a capital city%u2026 so the diversity is expected. If people want to have their own people in a particular State%u2026. Then I%u2019m afraid that we will have to soon divide the country into separate countries%u2026 each state being a new country,%u2026 get a visa to get into one..

wowww%u2026 what an idea%u2026 Raj Thackeray would then be the president of the Maharashtra country%u2026
Awesome%u2026 isn%u2019t it??

What a sorry state of the country!!! If the politicians can behave like this%u2026 I%u2019m afraid where the common man like us can raise his/her voice.

God save the city%u2026 god save the country%u2026 god save the earth!!

Media is Partial
by Amit More on Feb 13, 2008 06:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have been watching the developments in Mumbai very closely and have a strong feeling that media was not at all mature in handling the whole issue. Especially the news channels were busy cooking their own popularity by defaming Raj. The MNS leaders didnt have any platform to put their voice as reporters were trying to bully them. Being a maharshtrian i regret what all had happened but media is the first one and the major culprit in my opinion.

Dear Amit
What to say, we all are suffering from the same problem of leaders, corrupt media, and lot more. Dont get upset. We all have to think positive and remember dont let the country get affected from this.
