People of this sort only invented the term "freedom fighter" for use by Musharraf. If the same fellow gets trained in Pakistan to attach Indian civilians, he is freedom fighter, but if he attacks west, he is a terrorist.
If the problem in Afghanistan is solved and peace in maintained there then,in some way or the other if Taliban is crushed than india can feel not complete but somewhat secure. If India wants to be a super power of the 21st Century. It should also have good relationship with its neighbouring countires this is a imposible at present moment but we should be still hopeful for it and try to achieve it without risking our security. I think we can do that.
India should build a strong relation in Afghanisthan. Karzai is not Afghanisthan.India has a long historical relation with Afghans.Ghandhari , the wife of Dhritarashtra was a lady from gandhar, that is Afghanisthan. The Congress government is ignoring Afghanisthan, which will be great mistake. A strong Afghanisthan is good for India , a buffer against Pakistan.

Only those who do not history will have such altruistic thoughts. We have burnt our fingers by helping the ungrateful Bengladeshis in 1971. Now they are main sponsorers of terrorism in India. They do not even remember the atrocities committed by the West Pakistan and their hatred is reserved for India only!!!!!!!! Also we cannot forget the bad experience of venturing into strife torn Sri Lanka. Let the Afghans handle their problems. We need not worry much about that. We have more than enough problems in our country itself.

JKN, You are right.India's previous experiences of helping its neighbours are really bad.but in my opinion if the problem in Afghanistan is solve in some way or the other if Taliban is crushed than india can feel not complete but somewhat secure. If India wants to be a super power of the 21st Century. It should also have good relationship with its neighbouring countires this is a imposible at present moment but we should be still hopeful for it and try to achieve it without risking our security. India despite helping its neighbours in the past could not reap the benefits because it did not follow the advice of Gita'Nispapa Karma". In each case be it Bangladesh or Srilanka ,it had an ulterior hidden motive.Unless your heart is clean your work will not be accepted.
Cause they've achieved their goal there, its finished and their people are following the strict sharia law. Now they are interested in the west and countries like India, Thailand, Phillipines etc. Afghan, Pak all are their belts now. so they will focus their attention to other places.
american citizen and talking about afghanistan!another bigot, big mouth american stooge!laughable part of the report is "He was also a top military planner with the Afghan resistance following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan" addition shud be made to add "who now lives in USA for the afghanistan cause" lol then ones who even left their states citizenship and then talk abt its welfare? had he been a military planner he would have replied in detail what lead the mujahedeen turn against usa to become taliban and wat alqaeda is!
