Please explain how the humble fruit-sellers have shown disrespect to the so-called Marathi culture? Is this the Marathi culture, to bash up poor people? This doesn't deserve respect but it needs retaliation.

I'm a Muslim, and I'm a Maharashtrian (Konkani). I do feel that Mumbai has a population problem. Have you ever traveled my the local trains/busses? Have you ever applied for govt jobs? I agree with Raj Thackeray that preference should eb given to sons of the soil. However, people from other states need not be beaten up. Thats wrong. The best solution that I can think of is to have a quota. 60-70% of jobs should be reserved for sons of the soil. Rest can be given to non-maharashtrians.

by Dinesh Kumar Kanuga on Feb 12, 2008 03:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What an ideology this sick person Raj Thackeray has? Going by this...all the Indians who are working overseas and sending money back to India should not find any job outside India as all the jobs should go to the locals.

Well I guess he fails to understand the concept behind migration of people to a place where they find a suitable livelihood.

what do you mean Mr. Ramu?
Raj thakery is against UP's, Bihari's or against crime, dirtying Mumbai or disrespecting other culture?
If later is the case then Mr. Ramu you should know raping molestation rudeness is done by anti-social elements which are present everywhere not just in Mumbai/Bihar/UP etc.
So charging only those who belongs to particular state shows the mentallity of Mr. Thakery that how keen he is to break the harmony between people of india and rule at his home.
This technique is copied from Britishers which is commonly known as "Divide & Rule Policy"

MNS is the party of coward ppl

Shankar saheb,
Bihar, UP, Punjab and Jharkhand have also so many natural resources. Hope you are aware... And these natural resources are getting and distributed all accross INDIA whereever needed. Is mein bahut bada part COAL, Uranium, IRON, Boxite and so many things ka hai. If we will go according to your statement then, north india ke logon ko apne state se ye sab le jane dena bhi band kar dena chahiye. Yadi ye sab band ho gaya ne to tumhare ghar mein khane ke lale pad jayengein. As you have told that maharashtra land is not so fertile. Jis 24 hours power mein baithe ho na, lalten jalane ke liye kerosene oil bhi nahin milega. Job apne talent ke mehnat se pao. Poori duniya mein yahi hota hai. tumhare statement se ye lagta hai ki tum mein competition karne ki himmat hi nahin hai. Darte ho tum competition karne se. This MNS ppl, what they are doing, attacking only poor guys. Hai himmat to poore mumbai mein jo bade bade north indian business man jo baithe hain na unko kuch karo. Ye batata hai ki ye MNS ke log kitne kayar hain.....

Can you be called Human Beings or are you Animals in Human shape ?
Why do you have to beat up poor fellow Indians who's making a two square meals by selling fruits on streets ?
You dont beat up your neighbour's child to prove love for your child. You dont beat up your neighbour's wife to prove love for your own wife. Then why you have to beat up neighbouring state's people to prove love for your state ?
Are u Animals ??

Don't Generalize.
by Saurabh Nirantar on Feb 12, 2008 03:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Indian brothers and sisters : I am an Indian (of Maharashtrian origin, incidentally).

I want to state clearly once and for all that I have no problems with any Indians coming to Maharashtra to live/work/settle, just as I myself have this same right.

Please do not consider the actions of thugs like MNSwalas as being representative of the average Maharashtrian.

Most people do not discriminate on such flimsy bases as regional origin/language/caste etc, these scumbags are seeking to create a rupture in the fabric of our country.

Jai Hind!!!

P.S : MNSwalyano, jara vichaar kara. Udya tumhala ashi vagnuk milali tar? MP, AP, Karnataka madhe lakho Marathi mansa aahet? Tumchya karyanni tyanchya var halla hou shakto. udya mhanal ki Thanya che loka Kalyan la nhai jau shakat! He vedepan thambva.
