We cannot blam only for Raj T. there arealso some nonsence leader like Abu azami and amarsingh who started this issue.
Raj Thackerays mission has been accomplished now that he has completely overshadowed bal Thackeray in the HATE NON MAHARASHTRIAN race.

more than likely these vendors are illegal. it is really the job of police to make sure these illegal busineses don't set up the shops in the first place. so, the real blame belongs on the police of maharshtra. raj t's guys should be throwing rocks at police commissioners' offices.

Agree - Indian citizen is free to live and work anywhere in india Disagree - Those migrant workers or families grabbing illegally the land owned by private families/business houses/local and state govts After sometime, a slum city is created by them, one DADA collects protection money from them, and that DADA and corrupt politicians will come up with slum clearance schemes like free housings etc. Why should the locals pay for it? Locals pay all taxes, and those migrant workers and families are there with intention to get free ... everything possible from the govt Agree - right to work anywhere in india Disagree - migrant workers enter to job market, and then make unions based on mere numbers and muscle power and practically harrasing the industrialists up to the extent that many businesses are forced to close down It is responsibility of every citizen to observe certain rules for a decent life, like obeying traffic rules, keep the city clean, pay for tickets for any service (like local railways in mumbai). And all of us must accept and easily figure out who are evaders of local rules Doing business - those migrant street vendors are ALWAYS blocking roads designed and developed for traffic creating chaos. Nobody has right to do so. I will consider it as an attack of my right If any migrant family anywhere in india lives with cooperation and respects local people, yes they can live But if they become nusiance, nobody will welcome
No one care about integrity of the country. This issue is not only in maharashta. Same issue is there at Delhi and TN. This is not the only issue which will may result as divide our dear country.. issues

It would not get resolve with arrest person like Raj. Need to think seriously on it. Otherwise India will get divide like Russia.
From many of the messages here we can understand that, slowly Maharashtrians and North Indians have started blaming each other and raising all the issues they can. Its the sign of split and well done Mr. Raj Thackerey u 've started achieving the things u wanted. I am from Tamilnadu already fed-up with so many trivial issues getting blown-up here, and I never imagined this cud happen in Mumbai, that too with Fellow north indians. My heart is aching. Whats happening to our country. If rogues-by-birth people like Thackarey is initiating this, why educated people like us need to fight on this. These kind of leader need to be stoned to death. No point in talking about becoming a superpower nation in the world, when we cant even know the meaning of unity.

Relax Sally, there is lot of hate in each of every society, its not easy to remove it. Its human to distinguish yourself from others just like you did here saying you are tamilian. Who care what you are? But you still made it a point to mention it.

Till the Guilty are punished immediately this rioting and beating won't stop. If you see last 12 months, every state has somebody victim of these goondas on some or other mindless political point.
I hope people in Maharashtra wont let anybody from the Raj Thakre's party to win a single seat. Thats the best way to defeat them.
This is a bad tendency in people to blame biharis for everything. The truth is that crime in, say delhi, is usually done by haryanvis and white collar crimes by punjabis as well - basically delhi is a very corrupt place.when i was in bangalore, i saw that locals and villagers were into crime. so, bang alos was never a crime free place. biharis were hardly involved in this anywhere. of late, i can see that certain bihari groups do petty crimes but i have also seen that the police in NCR, in order to not do the hard work, blame everything on biharis. in fact, they also arrest bihari rickshawpullers randomly wihtout any proof while serious haryana gangs are operating with no conscience even against killing.
i'm sure something similar is on in bangalore and mumbai as well. notice the new year molestation incident. i don't know how many of the perpetrators were biharis but i do know that the non-biari police did not arrest a single perpetrator on the spot.
one cant blame only northies for all the mismanagement of the city. if they only r to b blamed for non-observance of the law, etc. even maharashtrians r equally responsible for non-following of rules. if maharashtrians say northies r goondas, then what abt arun gawlis, amar naiks, chhota rajans (nikhalje), maya dolas, etc.
