Raj should instead target illegal Bangladeshi migrants who have spread to all parts of Bombay and are like a cancer within the city. To some extent, he is right about migrants from UP/ Bihar but his manner of tackling them is like Nazi Germany in the 1930s. There are so many people from UP/ Bihar in Calcutta but there is complete harmony in Calcutta. In the 1950s and 60s, Bombay was a much more cosmopolitan city and was a truly international city. The level of Marathi hedgemony is much higher now. If this is persisted with, there will be a huge backlash which will spell disaster for Bombay. It is easy to target poor people from the hinterland. Let Raj target Bangladeshi migrants and rich Gujaratis - if he has the guts.

We have enough hatred going around in this country. Please do not increase the list by including Bangladeshis in the list. They are also human beings on the look out for better opportunities. But what you wrote about Kolkata is absolutely true. Bongs have been absolutely fabulous to UP/Bihar people (Bengal has more Biharis than UPites). Thanks for that.

if such continous then Bhayia would agitate then maharashtian will not have placed to go to protect themselves. nearly 30-40 % population is NI and most of the bhayias are without family in mumbai. Raj Thackeray and some other marathi "manoos" from ruling coalition wanted to buy lands in vidarbha region very cheaply and develop a SEZ (like nandigram and singur). But many vidarbha farmers refused to sell their lands as they won't have any work for them. Raj promised them jobs as sweepers, milkman, newspaper vendors, etc in Mumbai. But as migrants from UP and Bihar were already doing these jobs in huge it was not possible to give same work to vidarbha farmers unless these migrants were forced to leave. Thats the reason Raj and MNS started this problem so that the migrants will run away. This will ensure that vidarbha farmers will sell their lands to Raj and go to Mumbai to work as cheap labourers.
There are enough poor people to feed, There are enough villages without electricity to provide electricity, there are enough illiterate people who want to take education, there are enough patients and enough doctors to treat them, there are enough people to do business and marketing, there are enough customers to buy the stuff and enough people to produce the goods...
So we do not need any one to come from outside and add to this list...
And if anyone wants to come let them come with the setting of Roti Kapda aur Makan before landing here...

heloooo Milind I guess you are forgeting that you are in India and Mumbai is a part of this country. How can you differentiate north Indians and yourself from being an Indian. In this case people will have to apply for Visa to enter Mumbai. Don't be of such a small mind. come on we are developing into a strong country and the world is now looking upon us as a strong nation, and here you go thrashing the image of India with such petty issues. 50 yrs back we fougt with Britishers to free India now we have to fight our own people to have democracy. some politicians play with the Sentiments of the public just to acquire some media space and publicity. But the problem is that Maharashtra as a state has very limited resources and it is not sufficient to feed every one from all corners of the country...
So what I am telling you all is...

When the Ganga Sarovar project will be completed India will see how many Maharashtrian people come to work in UP... Seeing that Up & Bihar has fertile soil, The great river Ganga is flowing through these states which has 12 month water in its basin. still they are not developing. on the contra Maharashtra has less fertile land, only seasonal water are flowing through rivers & we are still ahead. solution is needed to control unlimited migration. This weeks issue of 'The week' magazine (published from South incidentally) had Raj on its cover dressed up like Hitler. That's a good analogy! Indeed the frenzy, the hatred against UP/Biharis which each marathi harbors can be compared to the hatred which German people had against the Jews. But that is where the analogy ends. UP/Biharis are no jews, at least in Mumbai. This community runs into millions, and in case of organized attacks, it will fight back till the last man standing. We will not walk into gas chambers voluntarily.
