see majority of marathis are belong to lower middle class, and hence they are all service class ppls, either in govt dept or private offices.
as the ppls from up/bihar came to mumbai, they also started doing small office jobs, as most of the up/biharis are illeterate (who r doing low profile jobs).
marathis have one thing in common, they have their dignity alive, where as these lower class up/biharis have no dignity, they work in any conditions, they sleep out side the shop (after the shop closes),
if they live in any chawl etc, they use to stay in quantity, (in a small room 10 ppls).
they work at a very low salary, as they came to mumbai alone and not with their families. so the business class prefers them to keep, as they get low rate workers plus night watchmans for free.
so the common marathi man is frustrated with these class of up/biharis, and they think that bcoz of these ppls, their earnings suffers.

just imagine, a local marathi youth went to a watchman's job. he has been ofered a salary of 2500 pm, how will he manage his livlihood with his family ???
where as a bhaiyya will happily accepts this job for rs 2500 pm.
what he will do is he will live in a smaall room with other bhaiyyas (share rent and food with others). and still manage to save 1000 to 1500 rupees a month, and send it to his native place...

Also mostly these UP-BH people stay illegally in slums (which resulted in flooding of Mumbai) don't pay taxes and all. So can afford low-wages job unlike Marathi people

People come in the search of Roji Roti.. Then they become voters.. They want to establish their power.. They form vote banks to bargain ..
It is a political game and not simple Roji Roti Mamla..
Ask the migrants from UP and Bihar to not to register as voters in Maharashtra and the problem will evaporate..
Its not a shame on Raj Thakare who is dealing with sensitive matters just for his political benifits, rather its a shame on us who have not created enough pressure on Police and Media to put him behind the bars,its a democracy and how can a person is allowed to spread racial descrimination when most of the Indians feels the persons from other state as much Indian as they are and they can move freely in any state with in India. Media can play a very important role here by supporting imprisonment of Raj Thakarey and Banning his Party for this deed so that it will be a lesson to the other person who dare to play with sentiments of Indians he is a traitor within India.

Delhi ha more criminals for your info.. but then that is a different problem.
If every city ensures that people who sleep on roads and slums are thrown out of the city - there would be no trouble. Raj must launch an agitation to force the city admin to clean up the slums , footpaths and other places so that criminals are thrown out. This will find acceptance of all communities.

You moron, if you know chhat puja then you should also know that chhat puja is to be performed in a large water body like a river or a lake and not in the contaminated Arabian sea. You dont perform a puja in the sea, its usually the shraddh that you do in the sea. Get your facts straight first before you say anything.
