RE:If Anti-migrant violence continues, the industrial belt of Maharashtra will collapse due to shortage of labours.
by dp on Feb 12, 2008 06:05 PM  Permalink
I think labour cards should be issued for everyones safety in Mumbai. Also to confirm where did u get this news from? Or are u another media person from Rediff(Congress) writing all bad things about MNS and marathi people?

Where were all these poor people when their leader Laloo was speaking frantically bad about Mharashtrians in his speech at Borivli?

When they knew full and well that this could create problem for all workers, why did these bhaiyya politicians do this to their own people?

Laloo cannot do anything in Bihar for his people..but has the guts to come to Mumbai and talk bad about Maharshtrians and axe the living medium of all Bhaiyyas.

So who is to blame?
Bihari Ploitiians or Maharashtrians?
This is not the first time Lalloo has spoken about maharashtrians in Mumbai.

Why does Media not speculate about these events when Laloo says something. Why was he not arrested?

Writers like u should think 10 times before spreading rumours. maybe it maybe ur family in trouble for spreading rumours and creating tension.

Jai Hind!

Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata : Union Territories
by JNB on Feb 12, 2008 05:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These three metros should be declared as Union Territories, but respective state governments can be allowed to use these cities as their state capitals. Like Chandigarh is used by Punjab and Haryana as their state capital.

This is just some political gimmick, the likes of which Indians are used to.
All the attacks are carried out by this rowdy gang against innocent people.
The locals dont really care about it.

Our beloved politician (both Congress & Shivsena) from Mahrastra use to say Jai Maharashtra during there meeting that time they have to think that this will be create this much headache to them. What should CM can do there, he is also Marati Manoos, if they take strong action they can lose next election. Politician will not care about the public the serving them self. How the can provide the security to local public, there security personnel are busy to serve there to leader.

Think about it
by Sandy on Feb 12, 2008 05:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Raj is 100% responsible for these controversy.
Mumbai mein Up/Bihar se aane waloki ginati last 5 years badati hi ja rahi hai. Ye dekhkar Unke politicians Mubai aake apani rally nikalne lage. Bhihar aur UP ke log une sath hi ho te hai.
Mumabi gujarti, south Indian, bangali log rahate hai lekin aap logo ne kabhi dhekha hi unka koi neta mumbai me aake rally nikalata hai.
Agar in ko roka nahi gaya to won dhin door nahi jab Laloo ,Amar Singh, Nitish kumar, Mayavati bhihar aur Up se nahi balke mumbai se election jitenge, aur mumbai ko bhi bhihar jaisa banayge.
Raj jo kah raha hia wo thick hai lekin implementation way galat hai,

I agree with you Sandy....

I guess thats why people from Gujarath, bengal and south are never in such controversies.

Even when Modi came there were no such issues.

But then oppurtunist people will try to use any way to make a name for themselves.

It is for the people in power to stop such opportunities to be given to persons who will create a ruckus and use the media.

I accept with you for some part what you are saying.but this is not the solution.like beating people with out reason. Force the Government for more jobs for Maharashtra people.ask people from Maharashtra to work in every sector ( all UP,Bihar people are in daily work like vegetables, construction, news boys, milk boys, taxies extra) in these jobs Maharashtra people are not interested.

Raj should fight legally with goverment.and encourage people from villages of Maharashtra to work in Mumbai. Not just hitting people for No reason.

Precisely... But the government should do that and not Raj since he will be least interested in the same.

Why does Vilasrao have to go and ask permission from Sonia for each and every thing that he has to do.

Take an example from Chandrababu Naidu and Karunanidhi where they put the interest of the state on priority since they have been elected by the people for that.

The fight started with Abu Azmi, then Raj thakare jumped in and then Amitabh and Amar singh got involved and now we have Uddhav thakare getting involved.

But did you see any one of them being harmed in the mindless acts that followed. No ! because they are all people with power and politics. nothing would happen to them. The ordinary people would have to suffer the consequences.

Wake up people try to understand Raj T or Amar Singh are not speaking for you but for themselves and their votes. They dont want your progress they just want power and votes.

India is becoming like Pakistan!!!!!!!!Shame on Maharastrian
by karn on Feb 12, 2008 05:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It seems India is slowly moving towards chaotic failed nation like Pakistan. There is no logic in saying that people who are moving to Mumbai should embrace the culture of Maharashtra. Mumbai is a big cities like London,New York ,Tokyo Paris where people from all part of the world come and work here .This is quite natural! These cities feel proud in becoming host to people from all other part of the world and It is irony that Mumbai is not even accepting their own country people and that%u2019s all because of one person. Shame on Mumbai!!!!!The acceptance of culture is a automatic process that comes automatically . All big cities of the world like London ,Tokyo New York have large immigrant population and these cities feel pride in their own cosmopolitan culture .Will you also tell maharstrian who migrated to London or outside not to follow Maharashtra culture but local culture and if you follow you do not have any right to stay in there. We should learn from London ,new York that how they allowed people from all part of the world (even Islamism!) to practice their own religion and festival and we from India not accepting our own country people and festival then how would be allow people from other country.
Mumbai has not become a dream city only because of Maharashtra but people from all part of India and even world has also contributed equally . Will Raj thakrey ( also tell all non Maharashtra entrepreneur to leave the Mumbai? He is such an illiterate person wh
