China is very much practical , it has a strong military (both conventional and non-conventional), Other-hand India is not practical. We know (are you hearing commies, PM, UPA guys) Pakistan and China would not favour a strong India, why should not we be very strong militarily, suppress the internal threats (naxals, terrorists) in a strong hand (I mean hang the terrorists, Torture them worst possible in open sky). Get closer to the country (may be USA or Russia) who will help us to get deadly military equipments, deadly nuclear bombs, encicle China (Get into alliance with Japan, Australia and US), no need to think what China will think, Have China ever thought by helping Pakistan what India will think, JUST BE PRACTICAL, counter China...

What's happened in the past cannot be overruled but what is the Indian Government doing now about the latest Chinese agression? If this continues, it wont be long before China also stakes a claim on Nepal and Bhutan and be the mother of all threats to India. The Indian Government should also retort to comments of the Chinese PM. What are we scared of?

China%u2019s relationship with India is not going to change much in near future and China would maintain an aggressive posture by claiming Arunachal, and military thrusts and jabs along the border. But India need not be unnecessarily perturbed since we have adequate strength and China would never engage on this side of the Himalayan ridgeline. China is shameless country it may demand New Delhi also and also all 7 north Eastern States. This country has prob with more that 15 countries as there border touches with them.Now as far as I know which country has left now for China to clash. China still has Border disputes with Taiwan, India, Nepal, Bhutan etc. I still remember that as many as 75 Articles I read in internet also that china is eyeing not only Arunachal but Nepal, Bhutan, Taiwan, burma and all 7 states of india. In Fact India now need to be double cautious as in Eastern Border which shows in MAP it is little bend and is called as (CHICKENS NECK)it can be easily destroyed by local terrorists and naxals and within few Hrs centres connections with all states will be ??????????????? India must take now some bold states and tell china Bluntly or atleast do following things: 1)Deploy 4 lacs Army on Sikkim, Arunachal, and Tawang. 2)Keep atleast 10 squadrons ready 3)Declare Taiwan as Independent country if china still puts pressure on New Delhi 4)Tell china to handover MANSAROVAR including whole TIBET. and also handover AKSAI CHIN and give them Ultimatum with warning to hanover this terrotiry to India in 3-6 months time. Chinas barometer will come down heavily. Also tell china that current business of 50B$ will come down to 1B$.
According to me china is likely to Attack Taiwan after olympics in 2010 and then will trun to India to capture Tawang and Arunachal.

Well my dear friend u should look back in history u will find that all the fault had been done by indian side, china wanted to sort out their border issue but useless policy of nehru ruin all these, china war could be averted bcox ball was in our court that time, but nehru forced unnecessary war on indian army and all of us know the result. china is a peaceful country and never compromised its border, its india who have lost part of kashmir as POK.

Dont worry. India brave soldiers are ready to protect.Chaia cant guess what India can do.
If you look at policy they have been very patient. They waited long time for taking over Hongkong and Kowloon. They are still asking Taiwan not to claim independence. They believe that in long they would either be able to persuade or force India to handover Arunachal and Laddakh to them. People who think that China can be persuaded to give off its claim on Arunachal are misleading people. Arunachal and Laddakh are important regions for buddhists. Without taking over these regions China cannot truly start its cultural superiority campaign. They are interested in Tawang only because its the seat of second most important Tibetans' monk after Dalai Lama.
India knows that it cannot fight China over either Aksai Chin or Arunachal. Indian Army is highly outnumbered in both the sectors. Also now with improved connectivity whole regiment of Chinese soldiers can be brought to Arunachal border from as far as Beijing within 3 days. Indian Army will need more than that time to move soldiers from Assam to Arunachal Border. Thats the main reason of China's belief that in due course of time Arunachal will belong to them. Indian government has not done anything to counter the claim, which only strengthens their belief.

I never talked about nuking chinese just for the heck of it. I talked about the capability.
If we are weak (nehru had made us weak by his policies), Chinese will walk over us as they did in 1962.
Chinese hagemonism and imperialism can be countered only by strength. We have no choice but to provide the signal to chinese that if they mess around with us, they will get a bloody nose.
That may not obviously be the intention of the author , but " The land of rising ire" sounds 90% a foolish term and 10% offensive (whether you are patriotic or not ).Couldnt the man get a better term , or is itrediff to blame ?
