minority management

india and it's politicians are bent upon minority management and this is another side of the same story. In Tamil Nadu court orders demolishing HINDU TEMPLES under some context.. will they dare to demolish any other shrines of any other religion... why if marathis are not working and surviving in other states, other state people should flood maharashtra ... in fact i remember tanjore was ruled by maharashtrans... what is history is also truth... where are we actually going... certainly not the path of growth.. cheap poloticians are looting country's gigantic image and ridiculing the people power of INDIA... when we all will rise up ... includes me...

Restrict your discussion to the topic and dont beat around the bush. You have a problem in Tamil Nadu stay there and try to solve it but do not come to maharashtra to increase its problems !!

Mumbai: SP leader Azmi offers to court arrest
by James Bond on Feb 12, 2008 05:51 PM  Permalink

Kabhi kishi ko mukamal jahan nahin milta, kahin zamin to kahin aasmaan nahin milta.

Even if Azmi is more than interested to get himself arrested, he should not be arrested. India is already full of such leaders and we shouldnot provide them any opportunity where they can claim that they went to jail for a common man of this country.

Inside jail, he will eat tax payers money.

James Bond

RE:i think raj thackeray and his supporters who are indulging in such violence should be shot dead on the spot. they are traitors of the nation. there is no doubt about this.
by Maneesh Agarwal on Feb 12, 2008 05:52 PM  Permalink
"Solitary confinement" for couple of months is a better option. If they are shot dead, some will call them martyr.
These policians are ready to go jail. Sometimes they even claim that they are not afraid of death. Lets see how this punishment works?

Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata : Union Territory
by JNB on Feb 12, 2008 05:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These three metros should be declares as Union Territories and but respective state governments can use these cities as their capitals. Like Chandigarh is used by Punjab and Haryana as their state capital.

Who are you to decide that?I don't know about any other city...but Mumbai CAN and MUST not be separated from Maharashtra...105 people in Maharashtra have given away their lives in Neheru's so called "FREE" India for ensuring Mumbai stays in Maharashtra.Better consult someone before commenting.

I fully agree. This is the only logical and correct solution which would also result in development of the respective states.

If Bollywood shifts base...it'll not harm...anyways there's no content in most of Hindi films...Marathi and Bengali films are definitely better than any other language films contentwise ans sensewise.

If Anti-migrant violence continues, the industrial belt of Maharashtra will collapse due to shortage of labours.
by babu on Feb 12, 2008 05:44 PM  Permalink

If Anti-migrant violence continues, the industrial belt of Maharashtra will collapse due to shortage of labours.

The recent statements by Raj Thackeray targeting north Indian migrants have shattered the peace of Shanti Nagar. Many have already packed their bags and headed home.

They are here every night, ready to kill us. says a north Indian worker, Kesoram.

They came at night to our place and they hit us. They also broke everything in the house,%u201D says a North Indian worker, Nirmala Devi.

There is a growing dearth of labour in the area as one family after another leave their homes.
I had twenty workers and only four are left. Even they want to leave. They don't even want full payment. They ask for only Rs 250 so that they could go back home. However, if this continues, the industrial belt will collapse due to shortage of labour, says a local industrialist, Ahwa Industries, Raj Kumar Chaturvedi.
