Mother Theresa is the biggest fraud
by Sameer Bhagwat on Feb 12, 2008 12:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Did she build a single hospital? What did she do with all the billions of dollars she collected, except convert poor Hindus?? She was just a stooge of the Vatican. Not an iota of spirituality.

Don't even compare her to a Mahatma like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Just one look at their faces suffices to tell us who is genuine and who is a crook. Mother Theresa never gave medicines to the suffering & dying folks, telling them instead that "Christ is hugging you". But when Christ hugged her, she ran straight to the best doctors in the world, what a hypocrite.

susi soni I use to like ISKON temples so much earlier, but after comming to know the philosophy guiding it,Iam pissed off.ISKON sounds extactly like christanity to me no difference.Though I love Lord Krishna very much
but not ISKON,the main reason why i feal christains get attracked to ISKON than hindus, may be because they have being thought
from their childhood to blindly beleive Jesus was God or Son of God and not think over it?Why
When they become members of hara krishna they simply trade there God name from jesus to Krishna from a sad person to every jolly person, that's it no difference.

i ment lord krishna, it never means ISCKON, they may be commiting blunders, so what when the guru is gone then we can inherit poor leadership , as all great men are later foloowed by mis directed leadership, with politics and no devotion, ISCKON may be in such position now, i wish they take note of this.

Iam not talking about the leadership but prabhupats philosophy which sounds like christainity only with interchanging jesus name with krishna.Stop comparing krishna to jesus just because jesus is being called by many.Read phycology of phroteism - a secular look at the bible, you will never want krishna to be comared with jesus(a delused paranoid person).

Aren't you Mr Soni, committing a blunder by talking about Sri Krishna without even understanding his message or studying it properly ? If we follow you then all the beautiful Swaminarayana & Vrindavan temples should be razed to the ground.

sri sri ravishanker looks to be doing a good job, but mostly with fanfare and media attention, sri sri should also go to the deprived godly souls and not only millioniares, i would not like to criticize him, but did he have to say any thing about Chaitanya mahaprabhu, vallabhacarya, tukaram, bhaktivedanda swami, who realised god. I only wish he serves the lord and not himself.

greatest saints of india
by susi soni on Feb 12, 2008 12:08 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The greatest saints of india of recent last century were Mahatma Gandhi/ and srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta swami. They never seeked any thing for themselves, but for man kind one was political and the other spiritual. No one can claim any greatness than prabhupada, he infused Sri Bhagwat the greates of scriptures all through out the world and saved many godly souls, with no strings attached, he claimed himself as bhagwan but spread the word of the supreme lord the ultimate lord Sri Krishna, such soul come rarely and all thos who associated with him or his teachings were liberated, even the beatles had afeel of it and sang the "living in the material world", rightly understood. But in india such feelings will be construde as communal? But he brought the vedas to light educated scientifically in world languges and with greatest understanding.Prabhupada cannot be compared, and now we are in misdst of many fake swamis, who proclaim themselves as great and not bothered of the ultimate yogeshwara sri Krishna, Lord krishna just a love to him will drive away all sins and evil, it is a great formula in devotion to the lord who incarnated in this lovely land of india, and loved mostly by the poor of india. so indians and people abroad, should also get a real guru like prabhupada, but following false gurus will bring them limited gains or utter failure, this thing most gurus fail to understand and explain. So one lesson for the world any activity other than without devotion to lord kri

Sri Krishna says in the Gita that He is present in all Gods & Godesses so there are many ways to reach Him.I read the same message in the copy of Swami Bhakti Vedanta Prabhupada's translation/explanation of the Gita. All Krishna temples have images of all Gods , Godesses & Saints & the Bhakti Margis too have their Guru Parampara. Why are you limiting it to Bhakti Vedanta ? Why not properly study your tradition first & then preach to others ?

What Did He Do For The Poor Masses?
by Pawan Hansoti on Feb 11, 2008 09:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What did he do for the poor, the needy, the suffering masses?. He went to the West and lived in comfort. Mother Teresa left the west and come to India to be amonge the suffering and serve them. The West would have been better off had they just gone by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

the west have cheated even christ whom lord krishna sent for the mission to uplift them, even the westerners were never good christians,in his name they made money and are still trying to use christ for world agenda. If he wanted christianity in india he would have been born here he was sent his mission for the westerners to come out of their material world, he was treated brutally by his own people.

mother thresa did a good service but never understood the father of christ was the supreme lord lord krishna he keeps on sending messengers in various places for selective jobs here also mother was on lord krishnas mission, it is unfortunate she never knew the ultimate lord but only knew his son? so unfortunate, but even vaishnavas consider her as a true vaishnava.May lord krishna give her eternal bliss.

Very Sad
by sanjeev sharma on Feb 11, 2008 05:17 PM  Permalink

It has been reported on many occasions that foreign political media in order to weaken people's following of eastern philosophy, try to do character assasination by planting female agents. Even in case of great himalayan sage swami rama similar sexual charge was made by one female agent but nothing could be proved.

Any way I suppose people will use their common sense and understand the significance of such great sage as Mahesh Yogi in due course of their life time.

The Fact About Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - A Play Boy
by Sagar on Feb 11, 2008 05:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Beatles had met with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi during a 1968 TM teacher-training course they attended in Rishikesh, India. After a bitter dispute, sparked by rumors of Maharishi sexually assaulting Mia Farrow[44], John Lennon was inspired to write the song "Sexy Sadie" ("what have you done? You made a fool of everyone") about Maharishi.[45] Whether the Maharishi's conduct with Farrow was sexual in nature is not clear. Mia Farrow's autobiography does not draw a definite conclusion: she describes "panicking" and fleeing after he put his arms around her in a dark cave, immediately after a private meditation session.[46] Word of the incident was given to the Beatles by "Magic" Alex Mardas, who portrayed it very negatively, devastating both John and George, who felt betrayed by the Maharishi.[47] Cynthia Lennon believed that Mardas invented the story to undermine the Maharishi's influence on the Beatles.[48][49] George Harrison, years later, commented on the contretemps, saying, "Now, historically, there's the story that something went on that shouldn't have done%u2014but nothing did,"[50] Paul McCartney, in his biography, likewise says that he does not believe the allegations and also attributes them to Mardas.[51]

The Beatles' song Across the Universe was beamed into space by NASA on February 4, February 5, Vlodrop time, 2008, and contains a reference to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's teacher Guru Dev. Other pop songs known to be about Maharishi include the Beatles' The Fool on the Hil

The reality is that there is nothing good about Maharishi Yogi. He was nothing but a crook and charlaton and that is saying the least. he portrayed himself to be some sort of a savior when in reality he spoilt the name of Hinduism in the West. He was thrown out of America and had to take refuge in a morally bankrupt nation like Holland to evade the long arm of the law. Such were his last days that he couldn't even come to India. So just because he is dead does not mean his past has changed. He still remains a crook who did intolerable harm to Hinduism.

This News is not for Ordinary
by sanjeev sharma on Feb 11, 2008 04:44 PM  Permalink

Mahesh Yogi is an enlightened soul. He has only discarded his unuseful body. He was in peace even when he was in body and he is in peace now when he has left earth. In vedantic terminology he was a JivanMukta when alive and now he has become VedhaMukta.

What he has contributed highly advanced people already know, with time ordinary will also understand his contribution.

If we sat aside our ego, we will be able to understand Mahesh yogi. Otherwise we will be only maligning him, as inspite of apparently living in luxurious world he was a simpleton, wearing simple cotton clothes, eating sparingly Ankurit Anaaj, drinking water and sleeping on simple bed.

Try to learn about his life, his teachings and you will unearth lot of jewels of life in your personal life.
