He deserves Bharat Ratna...nay even the Nobel peace prize. But the only hitch is that his name was not father ambrose or something secular like that.

He is beyond Bharat ratna, Yet should be honoured with the same to maintain the sanctity of the india's highest honour.
That I had played in the arms of Baba Amte in my childhood and grew up in Anandwan since I was four. I wonder from where the hatred comes in towards this great man. If you know him, tell the world, if you don't, ask me.

Who were not used to wear clothes or cook food. Baba not only educated them but some them have becomes doctors and are serving their own adivasi community.
I knew Baba personally and have closely seen the kind of work he has done. Forget Bharat Jodo etc ,, the work he has done for leprocy is unbelievable .. truely great human being

Freedom of speach is the worst aspect of a democracy where people with no respect to fellow human being dwell in length and breadth of our motherland.Pl come out of this mental sickness and think rationally. You are not going to achieve any grateness with filthy comments. In stead of mud slinging, if you start giving due respect to others, you will enlighten your own soul and get respect from other human beings.
