Baba Amte was a saint of Modern India. Though he was born in a rich family he sacrifised his life for the cause of leprosy. His contribution to the society is unmeasurable. Unfortunately our so called vigilant media hardly paid any attention to the death of Baba Amte. Creating big issues from non issues and distorting the facts is the only work of this media. Shame-Shame
his contribution to the society especially for those suffering from leoprsy is huge. i wish someone from his own mission would take up the responsibility to take his foundation to a new high.
Baba Saheb, a legend in his life time, a great Gandhian and a great social worker is no more. He has left behind an indelible imprint as a true Indian. May his memory live for ever and may his great spirits inspire mankind. May his soul rest in peace.
Friends Its imperative; and a sad day has happened, but torch "Great Man" has lit, needs to be carried through. With each one of us, contributing; will help the torch being lit.
We all can make difference, let us contribute few hours every week.
I remember when Baba Amte Saheb was admitted in hospital and was going to be operated in 1988, Mr V.V.Shirwadkar had written an article on him assuming that Baba would not survive then. Ironicallyn latter survived and the former past away.
you have coined your last name properly.Your class is reflected in the above sentence. You are just another slack jaw'ed faggot who does not understand the value of a great social reformer.
It is a great loss for the Indians, particularly the HINDUs. His continuous thinking of the downtrodden, taking care of the sick and deserving people, without expecting anything in return. He is a Karmayogi, did the services from his heart. Unfortunately, it is difficult to fill up the gap. The gap may be filled up by the Christian Missionaries and will start the services in return for conversions. Someone should step in Babas place and prevent this to happen.

Dear Ramachandran Please do not make Babasaheb Amte dwarf. He stood for mankind and not for just the Hindus. That would be a gross understatement of a true Gandhian.
