It is immaterial whethr Sri Ram Setu is man made or God made.The fact is it finds mention in Ramayana written by Maharishi Valmiki Jee.When all the places mentioned in this Ramayana tally with the existing places in India,Sri Lanka etc,the Ramayana has to be treated as our ancient History.And because it is related with Lord Rama ,Sri Ram Setu must be treated as national heritage,on the ground that it finds mention in Ramayan.Mind you,Maharishi Valmiki Jee was contemporary of Lord Rama.Therefore what he wrote has to be taken as Indian history However there is no harm if ASI EXCAVATE AND FIND OUT .IT MAY GIVE US SURPRISE AS ASI MAY FIND REMAINS OF OUR ANCIENT CULTURE AND CIVILISATIONS.WE AFTERALL ARE NOT BABY NATION LIKE ENGLAND,ARABIA ETC.WE WERE THE WORLD BY OURSELF IN INDIA.

HI Patriot, Wouldn't it be wise to use ASI to check whether it was man-made or not. According to some calculations, which I read a long time ago, the so called myth of Ramayan is over 100,000 year old. Thus, any man made structure will appear superficially to be natural structure. Hence, a proper survey is the only way to put the issue at rest.
In UK a survey found that quite a few (around 20%) of the yongsters think that Gandhi and Churchil are not real persons but myths.

RSA arm of ISRO which has IRS series satellites in space, has declared 'ram sethu' is man made and their observation was tabled at the end of winter session of parliament. A week back coast guard and navy disclosed of their letter to gov on the security threat the project poses to the coastal india particularly TN, if 'sethu samudram proj' is implemented.
The observations made by RSA and the recent security andgle firmly indicate the need to shelve the project. We cant undermine the security threat the proj poses to india, even if we dont believe hindu epics and doesnt value the culture and sentiments although indias majority is of hindus but doesnt have a say in their matter of faith.
"mythological Ram Sethu" - everything about Hinduism is Mythological...lie spread by commies and media controlled by missionary aggressors. When this non-sense will stop?
