Let UP and Bihar also develop. It is good Amitab is trying to do some good. Are there not enough great people from these two states to pull themselves up. Bring investment into these states. For that they must make sure law and order exists. Bihar and UP is ridden with goons and lawlessness. Every state is developing except these 2 states. As Mayavathi stated Up should be divided into 3 states. Then only Law and order will rerturn there.

All over the world. Whichever region is rich in Mineral is gereally well off with people. South Africa with gold. People are genreally well off
Russia is rising again based on oil strength
All nordic couties in Europe , in asia middle east have highest standard of living based on minerals & oil. It seems bit illogical to find our mineral rich states being most poor. I am sure part of money genreated from minerols are used to develop local areas

In an open letter to The Maharashtra Times, Raj Thackeray has defended his rhetoric on the north Indians. Defending his action; in a letter titled "My stand and my battle", Raj Thackeray made references to the Prime Minister's stance on the turban issue, among many other.

Nobody from other states have gone to these states for jobs. We will have to see how they behave when it happens. It is only the other way. Already Hindi( which is the Language of Bihar UP and Haryana) is a national Language. See what is happening in Bangalore, the loacal people are already resenting the outsiders. You cant be too harsh on Marathis( Though I dont condone Raj Thakrey)

Before IT boom came and when Bihar was united, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Bokaro was major industrial hub of INDIA where there was huge (in Lakhs) people from South working..even now there are big south indian colonies there..One of the Tamil Cinema film hero was born and brought up in Jamshedpur..There was never such issue..Just an FYI...
