Actually such kind of aggressive regionalism started only after telecast of realty shows on television in India. When the contestants of these shows making vote appeal they specifically make appeal to people of the region to which they belong instead of making appeal to our nation i.e. India as a proud Indian. We all should condemn all such kind of nonsense first.
This is rediculous for Indian politics. Family feud becomes political agenda for the leaders. On what basis we support such leaders. This is not a solution.
Let's see the problem after division : 1- Schdule cast & tribe 2- Brahmin and Dalit 3- Rich and Poor 4- Senior and Junior in all way (In politics so many party will be form). 5- And many more example.
atlast "Jiski lathi uski bhais" And Maharastra will be Bihar and Bihar will be japan.
So keep Maharastra like Maharastra.
Election comission & Ministry of Human R. should take an action to make a clean sociaty. Otherwise everyone get own decision only.
History repeats itself is true so far as Raj Thakery is concerned. Like his Uncle Bal Thakery who shot to fame through his infamous Shiv Sena, he is trying to imitate and repeat the history to upstage his rival cousin and son of Thakery. This is only a ploy to come to the centre stage of Mumbai's politics. This Raj was in hybernation following the unceremonious exit from his Uncle's Shiv Sena where the elder Thakery supported his Son to the throne, though he was all along nurturing Raj for the throne. Anyway blood is thicker than water. The goondaraj recently exibited by Raj was a shining example of the type of politics his uncle was practising in yester years. He has put all the Indians to shame when he and his sena trying to drive away the so-called north Indians. This is a total absurb politics first played by his Uncle and now this little chap is playing. BalThackery called him the chicken who got birdflue. This birdflue should not take a toll on humans, it is better for the government to act fast to nip it in the bud very quickly. The other states if the follow the same principle, the Mumbaites will be nowhere. It is now upto the elder Thackery to prevail upon his nephew that this kind of politics in today's world is not acceptable to the common man, who is busy making money. They are now at all worried about who lives where, what they want is development and best of life that they can make out of the present trend thanks to globalisation. Lets not spoil the develpment.

Shame on people from other states who look down upon people from Maharashtra where they live in and try to feel superior due to their status in life that is earned and made here. Rohit dont genralise...i think people like u and me should try to unite rather than divide. There are good people and bad people in every state. I can point out a lot of things that go wrong in UP/BIHAR but i dont wanna do that, as they are a part of my country. Let educate and try and unite in sucg dire situations. Ghati culture or Bhaiyya cluture is not important..its Indian culture is important.

International - US and Gujarat BJP became successful in taking milage by creating 'media perverted issues' for their political benefits. That's why Shiv Sena hierarchy feel isolated due to this successful political equation of US / BJP of Gujarat. Perhaps that may be point new lesson in International / Indian Polity - level of hypocrisy instead of real polity badpolity is taking place.

Mr. Mansuri, just because Muslims got killed in Gujarat riots, everybody in the Congress is raising such a ruckus prompting people like you to say this. Who can forget Kashmiri Pandits ouster, 1993 Bomb blasts and 2007 train blasts. Not to mention the Godhra train burning incident.
Whatever may be your analysis, this act of MNS & Raj Thackeray is nothing short of Treason. He must be charged under provisions of IPC for Treason as an Anti-National.
It really pains to read some hard stand being written by well readers of rediff. Just imagine what poison this guy is fuelling in the minds of the lesser educated people.
My heart bleeds at the thought of this. How short sighted & selfish these dirty politicians can be & how helpless are my Countrymen in the face of such Snakes.
