Sorry to throw up the question. I am not any fan of a film star. But I appriciate the humble Amitab and what ever possible and how ever way he tries to do charity and social work. How ever I am more interested in knowing what our leaders have done, as they consider it their right to hold our lives they want to. Please inform what has Raj Thakrey done for Maharastra. Needlees to ask what he has done for the country as he has not and graduated to that level, that he can can think of the country. His speaches reflect a mentality that presently he considers it shameful to do good of ant other state other than Maharastra. Do you consider his present work as a service to the state???

I donot know what he has done for Maharashtra but atleast he didn't ask to change the working language of Mumbai to HINDI from Marathi. He didn't say that "UP BIHAR hamara hai abhi MUMBAI ki bari hai"
I am a local. That doesn't mean that I should support violence which harms a life, may be that of any community, race or religion as I know the value of a life, suffering and misery of mankind in general. Misery, suffering and pain are same to every life! Human conscience is to consider, think and imagine with wisdom. If such properties are absent, well, we may not be eligible to call ourselves as humans! Hinduism has played very dominant role in the past due to which Hinduism in the past had rich traditions of culture! Let me correct you here that Senior Thackeray did not have a paper of his own prior to jumping into politics. He started subsequently. This family, if really wanted to serve maharashtrians, would have started several institutions to make them fit to compete with others to succeed in every exams and every fitness test to ensure and succeed in accomplishing placements on merits, instead of finding fault with others who compete to accomplish placements.

Best solution divide Maharastra into 3 parts part 1 for - UP people part 2 for - Bihar people part 1 for - Leftover to Rest to Maharashtrian people
There is a limit to how many people Mumbai or Maharashtra can accommodate. No doubt about that. Certainly these places cannot accommodate all of Bihar and UP and the question is why should they ?? Has anybody thought about this ?? It is high time that we the people of this country decide on this issue which has serious implications on all areas that affect quality of life. Raj Thakerey's protest against UP and Bihars (not all Northies as media says) is the first step in that direction. So why should Raj be blamed ?? When DMK supports LTTE why is there no concern about regionalism ?? When Akalis install the portrait of Gernail Singh Bihdrawale in Dam Dami Taksal (who wanted to break up India) why was there chilly silence among the desh Bhakts ?? When Bengalis openly rioted to protest against exclusion of Saurabh Ganguly from Indian Cricket team where were the media that cries foul against regionalism?? When Biharis were slaughtered in Assam why was media silent?? Where was all the love for biharis then ?? The truth is people from UP and Bihar have swamped the states like Delhi, Orissa, Assam, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Wherever they go they start behaving like they are in Azamgarh or Siwan. They do not respect the culture in which they go. Raj Thakeray's fight is against those that want to convert maharahstra into azamgarh or Siwan. This fight is not for jobs or resources but to maintain local culture and avoid lawlessness of UP and bihar.

Don't bring media into this...b'cos everyone know that Media highlights only those things which help their TRP ratings. The real issues are never highlighted by them. But the point is, if everyone starts regionalism..then what will happen to INDIA ? What's a country without any sort of unity ?

Lalu and Amarshing should drown in chulu bhar pani because it is their failure that people from UP and BIhar are flocking to other states. What have they done to improve the situation in UP and Bihar?? Before commenting on what is right and wrong these leaders should get out of their AC cars and mix with common people instead of partying with bollywood celebrities. Just ask what people of Orrisa, Delhi, Assam, and Rajasthan think about people from UP and Bihar and you will know why the Raj Thakeray got so much support in Maharashtra . As for Abu Azmi, he is ISI agent and a traitor. He incited muslim mob in mumbai to riot which directly lead to death of two policemen last year. People will not forget nor forgive traitor Abu Azmi.

True that reigionalisim is there more/less with most of the state. Again none of these forces thousands of people out from one city like the one in Maharastra. So magnitude wise possibly this has a much bigger impact. Government should come forward and trying to root cause the issue soon. Otherwise we are going to face the similar situtation happening in Kenya.
My fellow Indians I have one question to ask who is this Raj. What is the right he has to say that Maharastra is only for Maharastrians. We are all Indians and thats how we need to be seen as and not state wise. If Raj wantz to riot as him to come on the road rather than sitting in his house holding his wife's pallu and proving other dumb idiots to riot. He is a mere chicken. This guy needs to be trashed in jail. Dont knw y the govt is still deciding when people r dieing out there. Man i wish this guy Raj and his stupid cousin Uday where in the US he would have had a real tough life for talking rubbish. Wat ever still Mera Barath Mahan :)

i agree with you Sir but still its the duty of the State govt to curb the problems within the State. If the State govt cannot handle it thats when the Center comes in. But in this issue its high time the Center pokes its nose in....

dear sir, the state govt is acting on the orders of central govt. "the high command"
A grossly misguided, highly biased viewpoint has been presented, that while pretending there was never any issue to talk about, avoids the real facts, blaming political rivalry between the Thackeray cousins, Raj and Udhav, for Raj Thackeray's "misadventure".
Problems do not get solved by ignoring them and pretending they do not exist. Fires do not start without a reason, and the real reason was not Udhav. Raj Thackeray has shot into the limelight and the center stage of politics in Maharashtra by boldly choosing to protest on an issue that desperately needed to be addressed. That of curbing/restricting the mass influx of hoardes from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, severely straining Mumbai's public utilities to the limits, depriving the locals of jobs and sources of livelihood, while raking up social tensions, what with the likes of rabble rousing leaders of U.P. and Bihar openly announcing plans to create a vote bank of North Indians in Mumbai to ensure a victory for their political parties.
Many believe Raj Thackeray's supporters protests should not have been violent. They could have protested in a non-violent manner. True. Very true. And they did. They waited patiently for several months for the daily influx of hoardes from the north to taper off, which did not. They waited patiently for the political leaders of U.P. and Bihar to talk less agressively about their political plans, which they did not. A volcano was waiting to erupt and it did, spearheaded by Raj Thackeray.

If North Indians wont invest in Stock exchnage and Hindi Cinema than Maharashtra Govt will bankrupt, and Maharashtra become worse than SOMALIA. Remove these two biggest assets(Stick Exchange and Hindi film Industry) of North India hindi speaking people from Maharashtra and than see the economic condition of barren land Maharashtra. Raj Thakeray will forget to wear white clothes.

Not a single Maharashtrian person/leader condemning Violence by Raj Thakeray, everyone is considering him as Heroes of Folk. We all know why this anguish Maharashtrians have against North Indians, because North Indians are ruling almost in all sectors and this is fact,
1.Raj Thankerays and his goons do not have courage to attack on IAS officer, most of them are from UP and Bihar,
2.Raj Thakeray and his Goons do not have Courage to attack on MNC CEOs they are also from the North.
3.Raj Thakeray and his goons they do not have courage to attack on all Mega stars in hindi Cinema, which are 90 % from UP, Bihar, and Punjab.
4.Raj Thakeray and his goons they do not have courage to attack on Directors artist in Mumbai who are rich and famous.
5.Raj Thakeray and his goons they do not have courage to attack on any of the politicians, most of them are from North Indian States.
6.Raj Thakeray and his goons they do not have courage to attack on any of Mafia or DON ruling on Mumbai, most of them are from UP and Bihar.
7.Raj Thakeray can attack only on poors, like Taxi Drivers, Rickshaw pullers, hawkers, coolie, home less thats there standard and limit.
8.They can attack only on poors to show there power and they divide only poors, because we all know Poors are more in number whether they are Marathi or Non-Marathi and they have power of Vote, all political parties need Vote.
