Our politics is based on vote bank not on national interests.Taking law in their hands has become a fashion with few political parties, as all such expenses are paid by tax payers, these parties are not accountable for any destruction or indiscipline.
Each & every one says that India is one country & citizens has got right to stay or work any where in India. In that case why kashmir is not governed by this rule ? Let the Govt of UP, Bihar, and other northern states ask their people to go & stay and kashmir, this will easily solve the militancy problem there. Also give weapons to those who are going to kashmir to protect themselves from the militants. The present congress govt has no guts to do this. Or the Lalu's, Mulayam's or the commies will never show guts to fight terror with terror. Wake up Indians. Jai Hind

Kashmir is different from rest of the states because it was never an Indian state at 1947. Pak first marched into Kashmir, then India reacted in the same way. Both have stayed at the LoC for 60 years. So both are aggressors in Kashmir.
At least India is slightly fair and benevolent. It has accorded a special status (Article 370) to Indian-administered Kashmir.

The me-mumbaikar champions forget one thing - that Mumbai has become what it is today mostly due to its good fortune in being located bang in the middle of the country, being a natural port, and because the British settled there early. It's got very little to do with which state it is in. Mumbai's prime location attracted talent from all over the country, which automoatically made it a cosmopolitan city, with a strongly grounded migrant work ethic. The rest is history. Maharashtra claiming itself to be the sole reason for Mumbau's prosperity and claiming first ownership of Mumbai is really ridiculous, considering the big part so-called 'outsiders' have played in making the city what it is today! If non-maharashtrains leave Mumbai, it will cease being India's vibrant commercial capital and become just another small town.

it became entertainment capital because Maharastrain made the first film of india..Mr Dadasaheb Phalke... secondly ..any place developed because of its social fabric and local skills and culture of native people ... maharastra was front runner in aboloshing social evils like child marraige ,start girls education ,untouchability (ambedkar is maharastrian) ... thats why mumbai developed ...

mazya maharashtriya bandhuno- Let us understand ousting N Indians cannot be the only solution. we should understand that we need to go much deeper to solve this issue. They r able to come here in large no.s bcos the railway minister(usually from Bihar /UP mostly) makes arrangement for them by starting 5 new trains in every Rail budget. This needs to be stopped. Once they come here they r able to settle here bcos of the slums developed mostly on Collector land( indirectly under State Govt which is/was Congress party & ruled by North Indians at the top). All this is again possible bcoz majority of Central Govt posts are held by N. Indians(UP&BIharis) so we should strive to get more & more of Mah in these posts right from Minister to the clerks only then we can retain our hold on these issues in the Central Govt also.. we should ensure all our local bodies -Municipal corporations & ZPs,Nagar parishads, Gram panchayats etc make rules which require them to adopt to our language , culture etc. We should reduce our tolerance for these people in every possible way.We should convince our state bureaucracy also to adopt a no tolerance policy towards these people , officially or non officially. At individual level let us start by not doing any business with these people from today in Mumbai/Pune or Nagpur or Kolhapur or nasik or aurangabad....everywhere in Maharashtra. Moreover, the real problem is not migrants who come and work honestly, but the trouble-makers (read Amar Singh, Kripashankar Singh, Abu Azmi, Sanjay Nirupam and their ilk) who are into politics and resort to cheap gimmicks themselves.
Who the F is Abu Azmi to distribute lathis in Mumbai???!!!! What have SP, BSP have done in their own home states???...Just by geeting her "elephant" in Mumbai does not mean she rules the jungle!!...It is well-known who is the king of the jungle.

If all other states would have had a social fabric like Maharashtra, there would have been one Mumbai in each state!!!...unfortunately, people feel that they have the right to milk only one cow!!!....they cant or do not want to develop their own backyards!!!!
And Maharashtrians do not have to migrate to survive...it seems that Maharashtrians are paying a price for being prosperous and socially way ahead of others.
