If the statistics from any govt or municipal hospital is seen 95% patients are from UP and Bihar!!where the muncipality is run on people tax money, and the people who take advt. are these nontax payers! The white collar workers are a mix of all, mostly south indians and north indians too, and yes MARATHIS too.. the hawkers and baniyas are again UP and Biharis, agn nontax payers.. and now evryone kws that the majority taximen , autos are UP , BIHARIS!!! So , why justify these people who want to live and earn here, but behave as if they are still in their frontyard, and dont pay tax??? All this ruckus has been started becos of Amitabh Bachhan, who made a big issue when his name was said, thanks to Amar Singh! Jaya B also said "who's Raj Thackeray? we know only BAL Thackeray ans Uddav... of COURSE THEY STILL WANT TO EARN IN MUMBAI!! SO, GUYS , WHY U FIGHTING WHEN THE REAL CULPRITS ARE ENJOYING , HAVING PARTIES AND CELEBRATING BITHDAYS???? Yes as long as you take all the hindi-speaking population back, we will repatriate the marathi speaking population. In any case I suggest the following 1. Teach all marathi kids 10 up dissimilar combact tactics and training. 2. Charge 1000% sales tax on all hindi cultural events (books, magazines, movies, plays, print media etc) within the state of Maharashtra. 3. Revert back to the "Modi" script for maharashtra. 4. Only those people that have competence in marathi (12 years of marathi education) should be allowed as beaurocrats within the state of Maharashtra. 5. Like Punjab, do not give any ration cards to North Indian migrants. 6. Remove all shantytowns in mumbai

I made this comment and people have taken it out of context...I agree we should be united as one nation and divisions would enable our enemies to take advantage...what I meant was that north indians have little share in making real contributions to indian economy...its still driven by south india
Also I dont say they cant come here...I meant they must live how we live..in disciplined way and respect law and not take pride in breaking it...Most of the crimes commited in mumbai are by ppl who come from UP and bihar...
I have seen real sorry state in north where people boast of power and take pride that they have broken law...this north indian mentality is harmful...

Let's get this straight: 1) Maharashtrians are not responsible for what Raj Thackeray said. So they should not be blamed and blasted for what he said or did. Every state has its problematic people.
2) Biharis are getting blamed for nothing. Their Govt has let them down again and again. And now they are getting blamed for wanting a better life in Mumbai. Sure they have their share of uneducated and uncultured people but who doesnt?
3) All of India and all Indians need to change. We need to react less, give the other person the benefit of the doubt more and certainly think more before reacting the way we instinctively do. Anything goes wrong and everyone starts to whine, complain, accuse, and become hysterical - all signs of immaturity and weakness!

To the question - come from a multi-lingual family - have relatives from Gujarat, maharashtra, delhi, punjab, UP, bihar, west bengal, andhra and Karnataka.
We had heard of Gujaratis appealing PM to save Gujaratis in Kenya and Tamils appealing PM to save Tamils in Malaysia and so on. This is the fist time we are hearing some one appealing PM to save Indians from Indians. What next?

I'm not sure if I agree with this assessment. Mayawati was the 19th richest tax payer in India last year with an income of Rs60cr (in comparison, Tendulkar was 85th). If her origins as a school teacher are anything to go by, then I'd think UP is a land of opportunity. Also, UP's population is so large because people from all over India (and even Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan) have migrated to the state. The state is one of the most progressive states otherwise how would most of out PM's be from there? You are obviously not in touch with reality.
