I feel that every Indian politican should serve at least 2 years in the Indian Army to make him eligible/disciplined to stand for election. This will mould them as more responsible patriotic citizen.Hope the Indian Govnerment should have compensated Chuni Lal family monetarily more than Yuvaraj Singh six sixes.

As a foreign minister Jaswant Singh carried out long and complicated discussions with Stobes Talbot and ensured that US sanctions imposed after pokhran blast were removed.
Jaswant Singh was most efficient foreign minister in receint times after the fiasco called Gujral ,Payed agent of Saddam aka Natwar Singh and such others.
Yes Jaswant has blot of going ot Afganistan but that was collective decison of cabinate and whole nation and Media was hystarical to save those trapped in IC814 , Jaswant was coregious to go in hostile terratory of Taliban which no Indian Neta could have done.

nikla
This shows the attitude you have for this country. Yes I agree with you , you will prefer a sweeper job in BMC or a conductor job in BEST after post graduation but will not take a "CHEAP ARMY job". Long live the narrow minded attitude.
